Great Stay
The mermaid house was perfect for the four of us. The home is welcoming, nicely decorated with a mermaid theme, and well stocked. We loved hanging out in the screened in porch, and the short walk to the bay beach. We would stay here again.

Mermaids Have More Fun!
We had the BEST time staying at The Mermaid Cottage. The house is beautiful and clean and fun! My daughter counted 96 mermaids throughout the property:) We were a quick drive to Cape May and loved being just a few steps away from the beach on the bay side. The screened in porch was so nice to play games at night. We'd be so happy to return someday!

Peaceful, relaxing getaway.
The Mermaid cottage is on a quiet street, just a 2 minute walk to the beach on the bay where the sunsets are wonderful to experience. Very clean condition with a nice screened in porch to eat and relax. Kimberly was very responsive to my needs as I had reached out on at least three times during the first two days with questions and she was quick to communicate back to me. My wife and I were very impressed with Kimberly's overall attention to the property. It lived up to the description.

Perfect getaway
This was the perfect house for my young kids, husband and myself. Everything was clean and neat and everything needed was right there. Hoping we can get back again when my oldest doesn’t have a broken leg so we can enjoy the beach more

Beautiful cottage
My family (2 adults, 1 toddler, 1 infant) and I recently stayed at the Mermaid Cottage for a long weekend. It looks exactly as described. We were pleased with how clean it was and all the extras provided (linens, soaps, toys, etc). It had everything we needed and was just a short walk to the Bay which allowed us to bounce back and forth for nap times. My daughter loved all the mermaid decor. I’d definitely recommend the cottage and think my kiddos will enjoy it even more in the future when they can utilize the bunk beds.

Relaxing
My kids and I enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and well stocked to make some meals at home. The location was a little far from the actual ocean- the nearest beach is actually the bay which was too warm and brown. Ubers weee easy to come by for trips into downtown cape may where parking is pretty tough. Overall the cottage was inviting and comfortable and is great for three to 4 people to comfortably stay.

Perfect stay at a quiet cottage
Cottage was clean, well decorated with the mermaid theme, & on a quiet road. 2 min walk to the beach! Kids loved going to explore during low tide and was perfect for sunset night swims. The screened in porch was perfect for a rainy day to play games/cards provided. Short 15-20 mins drive to Wildwood beaches with bigger waves that the kids wanted. 2 mile crab restaurant near by & was great atmosphere, service, & on the water. Would recommend this cottage & would stay again in a heart beat!

Perfect for a Girls’ Weekend
The mermaid cottage was absolutely perfect for our annual girls trip. We are III Friends from high school who try to get together once a year. The cottage is sparkling, clean and adorably decorated. It was the perfect size for us with a spectacular beach, a block away. It is in a central location, so we were able to go to Cape May, Wildwood, and up to the zoo at Cape May Courthouse. The owner takes such care to ensure that the cottage is clean, inviting, and accommodating.

Relaxing, easy beach days
This house was the perfect launch point for our early June vacation on the bay. I jogged each morning on the quiet beach. The neighbors are so friendly, and the beach is very close. Quick drives to Cape May and Wildwoods. We appreciated the screened porch for reading and dining, the bikes, beach towels, and so many beach toys for our son.

Blissful family getaway
Our family had an amazing time in the Mermaid Cottage. It is exactly as it is listed. Very comfortable and clean. The included linens and towels made the ease of the stay absolutely fantastic. The easy beach access and daily sunsets are priceless. The bikes were a great bonus to ride for bagels in the morning or just for a quick roll through the streets. One thing to be aware of is that (at least in late May) the bay water is filled with jelly fish. Our young daughter got stung each time she got in the water, so we just stopped going in the water. But there's plenty of sandcastle building fun and shell/rock hunting to be done on the beach as well. Many other Cape May attractions like the lighthouse, Cape May city, the state park, wineries are 6 miles or less away. The cottage also has really easy access to plenty of restaurants. We tried Jake's, Castaways and the local deli with the "#1 potato salad" as well as Bravado bagels. Of those, Jake's was our favorite, but there's lots of options -- lots of ice cream shops within walking distance too. Overall, Kimberly is a wonderful host and we WILL DEFINITELY book at this location again. It was hard to leave and we can't wait to come back!

Great location near the beach and quiet neighborhood (in mid-May). The owner was very responsive to our requests. Be aware there is no dishwasher and the master bedroom is decidedly cozy for two adults. The owner has done an impressive job with the mermaid theme. This is a very charming vacation rental.

Girls Fishing trip
This was our second time staying at the Mermaid Cottage and it was everything we remembered and expected it to be. Kimberly was more than accommodating. This house is cuter than pictured and fully equipped. Honestly, all you have to do is show up. I do have to say, the best part is the beach. Sitting on the beach and watching the sunset was exactly what we all needed. It seems like this is becoming a tradition for my and my friends, so I'm afraid you'll have to put up with us again next year : )

Perfect Stay!
Everything was smooth. The house was spotless and welcoming. The beach was so close and amazing. The kids had so much fun on our extended weekend they were so sad to leave. The location was great with grocery, Wawa, and ice cream near by and a short drive over to Cape May town or lighthouse. The beach chairs, toys, and bicycles were so nice. We were well stocked and comfortable all weekend long. Thank you for everything!

Perfect girls getaway
My sister and a friend stayed at this adorable cottage which was exactly what we were looking for. It was the perfect location being very close to the bay in a quiet little community. There were restaurants and groceries nearby and it was just a short drive to Cape May attractions. The property manager was very responsive answering our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

Low-key Bachelorette Weekend
Kimberly’s place was perfect!! It was a 3 minute walk to the beach, and a quick Uber from Cape May shops/little town. 6 girls and we all slept great, and enjoyed everything about this place! We were already talking about coming back to the area, it was so cute!

Beautiful Little Cottage
Beautiful home just steps away from the beach. Clean, cozy, lovely enclosed back porch perfect for bird watching. Nice for families or for a romantic getaway. Overall lovely experience. Host was very kind and welcoming.

Great home!
House was a cozy 2 bedroom, and was a short drive to many nice dinners, ice cream etc. but, although the beach was accessible via short walk, it was mostly empty and not terribly kid friendly. If staying, I’d recommend the 15 minute drive down to the cove beach area.

Perfect Getaway Spot
Absolutely adorable decor in a sparkling clean home. Wonderful hostess! Everything you need is right there in the cabinets for having meals in and for enjoying coffee out in the porch. Great, quiet location between Wildwoods and Cape May. Two bonuses: cutest bunnies in the yard and hand soap that smelled amazing. Highly recommend!

Perfect cozy stay!
We had a great experience staying here. We found the house to be impeccably clean and had everything we needed for a family getaway. My elementary school age kids had lots of fun exploring the bay beach, and the short walk over to watch sunsets was a highlight of the trip. Perfect cozy summer getaway
We had a wonderful time at the Mermaid Cottage! Kim was a very gracious host. The cottage is such a quaint and cozy place, located in a quiet little neighborhood. It was clean and organized, super close to the bay and an easy 17 minute drive to Cape May Beach, as well. We especially loved the enclosed deck that was connected to the living room - it was a wonderful place to begin and end our days. Highly recommend!

Lovely cute cottage
We enjoyed our stay at the beach cottage! It had everything we needed for a fall weekend getaway. It’s minutes from Delaware bay, so we took walks to watch beautiful sunsets every night. Screened porch with lights added to the ambience of fall nights! Excellent!

My husband and I came to the area for the weekend for a friends wedding. We loved Kimberly’a property! The house was so cute and perfect for our stay! The beds were comfortable and the screened in porch was a perfect way to end the evening. The location was just a few houses from the beach, and the beach was better then expected.
