When it says parking not near hotel it means you have to walk a trail for about 200 yards
to the cabin. Was not marked and made it very difficult to find the cabin..we ended up locating it by matching houses in the area to the picture on VRBO and one in our party made his way over walls to find the front door and key to make sure it was our property then walked it back to our car.
Also when we got to the cabin it stated there were 4 rooms. There are only three rooms in the house and one is in a make shift tool shed. Unfortunately, the one room in the shed was the only one with a double bed. All the rest of the six single beds are as follows 2 sets bunks, one single and one set of mattresses stacked up. The bunk beds (x4) can only accommodate someone leas than 5’ 9”. We had 5 people and 4 of us were greater than 6’. So the sleeping arrangements were not as listed, made for a couple sleepless nights for a couple of people in our party. Also there was not enough bedding to cover all the beds (using the pillows was not an option) and only 4 bath towels.
Also, a boat was pictured on the web site. There is a boat Nd arrangements can be made to use it prior to arrival, however, that is not listed anywhere so really was not available. There is a canoe, kayak and paddle board available.
This is not a traditional rental. It is someone’s vacation home you are us using. There is no laundry onsite and the closest laundry is 30-40 min away.
