This property is as advertised, beautiful large rooms, clean, well stocked kitchen enough to prepare holiday meals for our group, reasonable walk to the beautiful ocean, plenty of restaurants nearby. Only issue was the tv remotes didnt function appropriately. Only way to change channels on main TV was to navigate via the guide. Could not change channels via channel up and down.

The lack of timely responses (the welcome letter claimed minutes to respond) was very disappointing. We made several inquiries via emailx2 and the phone numberx2 and did not get a response until 18 hours later. The road noise was from street traffic was horrible. The two bedrooms facing 22nd St were very loud. The others were much better. I dont think I slept more than an hour at any time as the noise was so disruptive.The dishwasher did not seem to work. We tried several times. It would run but not clean anything. We washed all by hand. The 3rd floor bath shower control fixture was barely hanging on. It had the only 2 screws so loose that it almost fell off. I tightened both and it seems to be OK now. The towel rack bar also had one side fallen off before we got there. It needs to be refastened -it’s not broken. The front doo bell fixture was lying outside on the deck. It was apparently ripped off by somebody before we got there- and laying in pieces so I picked up those pieces outside and laid it inside the house on the floor. The pullout couch was very filthy so we didn’t even try to use it. We choose this place because it had a lot of space for a family event given the amount of rooms-- but was apparently not deep cleaned in a long time. And the checkout instructions seemed a bit much- taking out all garbage and stripping all beds/towels in one pile simply to make it easier for them? I sent this feedback-no reply. I regret my stay.

Perfect home away from home!

Me and my family of 7 loved the house the location was close to the beach maybe 5 min walk but still close to everything! Super clean, beds are comfy, and plenty of supplies. The only thing our side shower didn’t work but our neighbors did and was friendly to let us use theirs so wasn’t even a big deal! Our 2025 was a success! Thank you for letting us stay!

We loved staying at this property. We have stayed at many different properties in Virginia Beach and this is one of our best stays. We had a toddler with us and appreciated that there was a baby gate available. I had questions before our stay and the owner responded quickly when I reached out. We would stay at this property again.

Great location, clean & spacious

Great, spacious, and clean for a stay close to everything in VA Beach (walking distance to boardwalk, restaurants, etc.). There is definitely road noise since it's right off the main road - so something to be mindful of if you're a light sleeper/have young children. The host was very communicative and helpful before and throughout the stay.

The property was great and very clean. The location is very convenient to the beach. The only complaint, which isn't anything a property owner can change, is the street noise from 22nd Street. It is a major road, and traffic noise, especially on weekend nights, is loud. I think it is a trade-off between noise and location, and if you want to be close to the beach and restaurants, this is a great location.

Very nice place

Very clean and brand new kitchen. Well kept up. The location is not the greatest but the unit is terrific. Very nice manager to deal with as well. I would stay again.

Team Building Retreat

This was the perfect place for our team building retreat! It was in a great walkable location to the beach and to a variety of food options! It was also very clean and beautiful inside - everyone on this retreat was impressed and we had a great time!

Two Family Beach Trip

We found this townhouse exactly as it was described in the listing. We had two families of four stay and it was just the right size. The A/C was cold; we actually had to bump the thermostat up a couple degrees. The location was a short walk to/from the beach/boardwalk. Each family brought a wagon to carry our beach stuff, and this made the short walk even easier. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with pots/pans/dishes and previous guests have left some basics (salt & pepper, cooking oil, aluminum foil, ziplock bags, etc.). We did the same because we always find this nice to have the day you arrive if you plan to make lunch or dinner before picking up groceries locally. Overall, this place is exactly as described in this listing and would definitely consider staying here again.

Family vacation

If you are looking to relax and get good night sleep this would not be the place for you. Traffic and the naval air station near there was always music from car traffic, motorcycles, and planes.

Great Beach getaway

Nice location for our family with teenagers. Overlooking 22nd street from balconies provided a lot of entertainment and nice sunsets. May be a bit loud for younger children or elderly sensitive to loud noise. Property was in great condition and host was very responsive to any concerns!

Thanksgiving

This was our 4th time to rent a vacation house in the past 12 months so we have some comparisons we can draw from. Our family all traveled to the area to spend Thanksgiving with our military son who had to stay in Norfolk. We stayed one week and planned to cook meals….especially for Thanksgiving. The kitchen is equipped with lots of pots and pans, plates and cereal bowls, but is lacking in everything else. There is only 1 small mixing bowl. We had to borrow a colander, mixing bowls and serving items, cake pans, an electric hand mixer, large spoons and spatulas, etc to get through the week. This might not be important during peak vacation season, but was important for Thanksgiving as the weather was cool and rainy and we spent a lot of time indoors visiting. One reason we chose this townhouse was the rating on cleanliness and initially it looked fine. But we did discover what looked like cat hair on the sofa and some of us had allergies acting up. Light sleepers should bring ear plugs as it’s on a street with traffic.

Perfect beach vacation

We came to Virginia Beach with our family which included 4 teenage/young adult children. This property was as great as it was advertised and provided enough space for all of us to spread out or spend time together. It was also a perfect location to the beach and boardwalk as well as many stores and restaurants allowing everyone the freedom to come & go as they pleased. We thoroughly enjoyed our beach vacation!

Close to the Beach
