Absolutely ideal position for all the city centre historical and religious sights, easy walking distance to Borsalino bus station for airport bus, or buses to Etna region. Suffers a little from scruffiness of the city in general. Deluxe room was spacious and comfortable with good wifi, and even BBC News on tv ch 411. Bathroom a little dated, but perfectly adequate. Breakfast pretty good, though no Parma ham, olives or Ricotta/Mozzarella. Cakes and pastries fresh, with coffee available from bar if you didn't want it from a machine. All in all a perfectly satisfactory stay for a couple of days

Quiet headland location, Scoglitti village 10 mins drive with basic amenities nice grocers and bakers etc. No tourists in October. Informal and simple lifestyle for a chill out. Accoms for 11 in a 3 bed and 4 doubles. ..."
