Inside, you’ll find a beautifully updated home with a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living spaces, and beds for everyone: a king, queen, and two twins—perfect for families or friends. Soak in our heart-shaped hot tub, unwind on the spacious lanai, or curl up by the electric fireplace after a day of exploring. Step outside and you’re immersed in the native Hawaiian rainforest—listen for the calls of the ‘apapane and ‘i‘iwi. Don’t miss our lava-inspired water feature, which glows at night for a magical “lava viewing” experience without leaving the yard. You’re just minutes from hiking trails, lava flows, art galleries, farmers markets, and charming Volcano Village restaurants. Whether you’re here for lava views, rainforest serenity, or just a cozy escape, our Volcano home is the perfect base.

The location was perfect for visiting Volcano National Park. The owners were easy to communicate with throughout the process. The beds were very comfortable. Our only wish was for a bit more heat. There is a small electric fireplace but the rooms still seemed chilly. I do recommend the place. The photos are accurate and the furnishing were very nice.

Excelente casa cerca del parque de los volcanes en la isla grande. Muy bien cuidada, con muebles y camas de buena calidad. Los anfitriones han pensado en muchas cosas para lograr que sus huéspedes la pasen muy agusto los días que estén hospedados. Uno de los mejores lugares en los que me he quedado. Excelente lugar y anfitriones.

The property was beautiful and accommodations were immaculate: clean, manicured, spacious. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and responsive. Hot water tub was clean and heated up within a couple of hours just like the directions said. The bedding is so comfortable and cozy! Bath towels are soft and plump, not thin and cheap. There is a well stocked kitchen with plates, bowls and a variety of cups/glassware. We cooked most of our meals here and had everything we needed but a can opener. A family of pheasants comes to visit occasionally, and the birds in the trees are regulars. If you’re looking for a private and quiet retreat, not completely cut off from the world but just the right balance; nature sounds of rain and birds, or just quiet tranquility with many of the comforts of home, this is the place to book. You’re a quick drive to the volcano, special sites like Akaka Falls and botanical gardens, and the Sunday farmers market in the village is a must visit. Enjoy.

From the moment that we pulled up and saw the gorgeous landscaping, we felt relaxed and joyous at the opportunity to be surrounded by such beauty. And so with the home itself, from the elegant lanai to the lovely furnishings. It was a wonderful stay—and we even got to see an “episode” with the volcano, which was amazing.

Honored to be your first guest! Cozy & Close to the Volcano! This was a lovely rental with easy access and tons fun. The Heart shaped hot tub was delightful, especially at the higher elevation. We used it multiple times and loved being surrounded by the rainforest. The kitchen and living room space were great. Eating breakfast and dinner on the Lanai, were also special. They have created a Lava feature that is also fun to come back at night! We would stay here again for sure! Thanx Rachel & Jason for the Hospitality!
