“I’m so glad that we booked the Tea House. It was even more beautiful in person. We spent our days in Volcano NP (less than a 10 minute drive away) and after long days of adventuring were happy to turn on the fireplace, relax in the tub, and curl up in the super comfortable bed. The space was so peaceful and inviting. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We would love to stay here again.”

“Hosts are fast to respond and we were welcomed with fresh apples, breakfast supplies, yogurts in fridge, a welcome bag and a handwritten welcome in a new notebook! It was such a warm welcome after a long drive from Kona and the property is well maintained with beautiful flowers outside. “Stayed one night and it was perfect for getting to and from Volcanoes. Best times to get there are early and late. Layout is quirky but functional. Bring your own coffee and filters as neither are provided. I had coffee but needed to ask a restaurant we stopped at for a filter. Wish it had a grill because the town of Volcano is a ghost town at night. No AC but it gets cool at night. A dehumidifier would be helpful rather than opening the windows but at least the coki frogs aren't as bad as……
