"Our stay at the hotel was excellent overall. The location was perfect, and everything else met or even exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and we really enjoyed our time there. As minor points for improvement, some of the food at the buffet was occasionally a bit cold, and the water pressure in the showers was somewhat weak. "⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 We’ve just returned from a stay at Enorme Santanna Island Resort and overall had a lovely holiday, but there were a few things that stopped it from being a full 5-star experience. Starting with the positives — the staff were absolutely amazing throughout our stay. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The rooms and hotel grounds were spotless and very well maintained. The complex itself is huge, with plenty of space and beautiful sunset views in the evenings. There are three main pools plus additional private pools for selected rooms, which is a great touch. The food overall was excellent. The buffet had a really good selection and the à la carte restaurants were mostly fantastic. The Greek restaurant was excellent and the Asian restaurant was exceptional — easily the highlight of the dining experience. Unfortunately, the Italian à la carte restaurant was a big disappointment. The food was genuinely poor and tasted like frozen food that had simply been reheated, which felt out of place compared to the quality elsewhere. There were also a couple of service issues. One day housekeeping completely missed our room, so I called reception twice to request fresh towels and for the bed to be made. They did eventually make the bed, but then forgot the towels. Not a huge issue, but something that shouldn’t really happen at this level of hotel. The room amenities were also a little underwhelming. There’s no minibar as such"

"Modern appartement gelegen in de hoofdstraat van een kleine badplaats met op wandelafstand horeca en winkel. Alles was netjes toen we aankwamen . Alles is aanwezig om aan selfcatering te doen in een ruime keuken. Ruimte is er genoeg. Familie heeft een klein restaurant iets verder waar je tegen democratische prijs eerlijk lokale gerechten kunt eten. Enkele kleine terrasjes aan het huis geven je de mogelijkheid o buiten te zitten. Ook heel mooie omgeving als je wat verder wandelt of rijdt. Even verderop ligt het wat drukkere Sissi waar je voldoende supermarkten vindt om inkopen te doen."

"Beautiful Hotel in a Great Location, But Some Details Let It Down We recently stayed at Castello Boutique Suites in Sissi, Crete to celebrate our anniversary, and overall, we had a very good holiday. The hotel made a wonderful gesture by upgrading us to a larger suite with a private side pool, which felt so special and really set the tone for our stay. The suite itself was stylish and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent every morning, and the staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The location couldn’t be better — just a 2-minute walk from the charming port of Sissi, with plenty of tavernas and shops nearby. That said, as this is marketed as a five-star hotel, we were a little disappointed by some details. Positives: – Thoughtful anniversary upgrade to a suite with private pool. – Beautiful, modern, and spacious room. – Fantastic location (2 minutes from Sissi port). – Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and quality. – Friendly, professional, and welcoming staff. – Relaxed, peaceful atmosphere throughout. Negatives: – Private pool jets and lights didn’t work; nothing was fixed during our stay. – Pool needed topping up and sides had algae. – No towel hooks in the bathroom; “do not disturb” system broken. – Daily housekeeping, but balcony wasn’t cleaned in 8 nights. – Cups and glasses not refreshed — had to wash them ourselves. No blinds/curtains: poolside window let in sun at 5am, back window was lit at night, affecting sleep and"

"A couple of minor things to note from the hotel description; They do not operate an airport shuttle bus, and there is no car parking on site. However, there is plenty of parking in the vicinity of the hotel. The hotel itself is absolutely perfect as far as I am concerned. It is small enough as to never seem overcrowded, even at full capacity. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Also, the bed was probably the most comfortable I've slept in when away from home. As for the staff, they are attentive and helpful. "
