"There were 12 of us in total for our stay, adults and young children. Emeline managed to find 3 cots, highchairs/booster seats and baby baths for us which really helped with our young children. We had a lovely time at the house Frederick and Emeline were very friendly and helpful, they live on site but they are not intrusive. Although our group was split over 2 different houses the outside table was large enough for us all to eat together. The best thing was the pool area which was fantastic...

"Very typical and comfortable old house from the Marais Poitevin with a large garden kid friendly. Nice and friendly tenant. All of it was a very good quality time and best memories in that charming house. house."

Service Abritel: Aucune solution nous avons dû nous débrouiller pour trouver un logement où dormir durant les 3 jours donc 3 hôtel différent. Bien évidement c’est à nous d’avancer les frais. "My family had a wonderful stay. The gite is thoughtfully designed and very well equipped. The furnishings are up-to-date and everything works well. The beds are comfortable. The swimming pool and hot tub are delightful. The garden is charming and we enjoyed playing badminton. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and gave us a lot of helpful information. Château near the Puy du Fou, in the heart of the Vendée bocage

"We filled the chateau with 26 people, aged from 2 to 80, and it never felt overcrowded. Lots of lovely old furniture, but new good quality bedlinen and towels. Very clean. We mostly cooked for ourselves, and the kitchen was well-equipped for such numbers. Outside, there's a new tennis court by the pool, both are great. (The free-standing pool in the main photo has been replaced by a much better one, and the badminton/volleyball court is no longer there). The outside dining furniture has also been upgraded from the white plastic in the photos and was very nice. It was perfect for Puy du Fou but also in a lovely area to explore - though we mostly stayed at home to enjoy the facilities. One thing to note - the pool and tennis are 'communal' which means you may be sharing them with another large party in the other half of the chateau. With a bit of polite communication that was not a problem, especially with so much fine weather."

"We arrived quite late at this property after starting from the UK. It is a small inn and we weren't sure if we would be able to eat there. The host was very welcoming and offered us a table for dinner. There was no vegetarian option on the menu but the owner put together an excellent vegetarian meal for my husband. A wonderful little place which we loved. "
