I actually tried to get to Rysy on that hike. But on the only crossing on the whole hike I turned accidently left instead of right and ended up at Vyšné Kôprovské sedlo. Was still a great view at the end. #Nature
Slovakia's High Tatras Mountain! I was at a frozen glacial lake called Štrbské pleso. It's one of the most iconic landmarks in Slovakia. It is really amazing to walk on it! And to see so many people having fun! With their friends, family and classmates. It was a beautiful early March day. I had a great winter holiday this year in Slovakia :). The views were really stunning everywhere! In my post-processing work I did edit out a construction site (or whatever it is. I never got close enough to see). So, if you visit Štrbské pleso don't be surprised it is there! And more info about Štrbské pleso: It's the 2nd-largest glacial lake on the Slovak side of the High Tatras, Maximum depth is 20 metres (66 ft). Surface elevation is 1,346 m (4,416 ft). And it's surface remains frozen for around 155 days per year!
About half an hour before you reach the summit of Rysy from Slovakian side, you will get a view of Zmrzlé pleso v Bielovodskej doline. #Adventure
This is the view from the summit of Rysy, highes mountain in Poland. The little shadow in the center of the rainbow is me sitting on the peak of the mountain, taking the photograph. Fun fact: Rysy is located at the border between Slovakia and Poland. It has three peaks and is about 3m higher in Slovakia than it is in Poland. #Adventure

A comfy stay in a cozy room
Almost everything in the room is with wood furniture. It’s clean, quiet and comfortable with beautiful Mountain View. It’s also close to the train station with 10 minutes walk. The staff is very helpful and speak good English. The bathroom is too dark.
