Weekend away

We had a great and comfortable stay at this historic hotel. We were happily surprised about the bar in the basement, the friendly bartender and the delicious cocktails. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was tasty and fresh.

Difficult communication

The place was nice, but I had a lot of issues with the host's communication. He was prompt in his replies but vague and gave incorrect information. I won't use this host again.

Realized how dirty floor was when i dropped earring. Popcorn in corners of floor. I took pictures. Way toooo expensive for quality of room. Small, old, needs, updating badly. Would not recommend this room to anyone. So overpriced for quality of room.

Cute spot

Super cute hotel rooms are really nice for being older, but lots of character. The walls are VERY thin. But love the town and some great spots to eat and walk around!

Great getaway on the North Shore

Quiet. Easily accommodated 6 people. Nice kitchen. Great deck overlooking Lake Superior and an even better, larger common deck nearby! Highly recommended!

Quaint and Comfortable

This property was perfect for our family's North Shore getaway! We enjoyed the central location of the property (easy access to Tofte, Grand Marais, and Lutsen), convenient parking, and ample space in the unit for us to spend time on a rainy day. The view from the deck can't be beat!

This was an amazing location and we had a blast! The only thing would be to bring mosquito repellent with you if you are planning a trip but the condo was amazing!

Château Leavuex Great

Had a great time at the château, great waking up RIGHT on the water and an awesome place to relax after a full day on the mountains. Hot tub and sauna are great for recovery!

Spacious for family of four.

We were a family of four with two adult sons. Property had plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Fantastic location. Large balcony a stone's throw from the water. Easy access to sights up and down the North Shore. Well-maintained and clean.
