"A great spot right on the lake, a few minutes drive from the CBD. Spacious rooms, some with mineral spa bath for added relaxation. The owner was very friendly, helpful and available for any queries. Facilities in our suite were excellent with everything you need for preparing meals and a separate dining area. Our stay was very comfortable and we would have no hesitation in staying again for longer."

"Sofa bed needs upgrading We enjoyed the great location, but the sofa bed was a real letdown. The mattress seems like the original — I could feel the springs, it was noisy with every turn, and I woke up with a sore back. I asked for a mattress topper but didn’t hear back. We spend money on holidays to rest properly. Upgrading the sofa beds with a decent mattress or replacing them with proper beds would make a huge difference. That change alone would be a big plus and guests would love it. Otherwise, location was good. Thanks."

"It was very clean without any odours, and had an effective heat pump that kept us warm. Whilst it is an older motel, it was well maintained. The private geothermal spa pool was a major highlight though which made for a very pleasant stay. The staff were also considerate, leaving the heat pump on in anticipation of our arrival. The only thing to mention is that if you are a family with very young children, the family room we stayed in had an upper level with the kids beds and was accessed via steep stairs so you may not want little ones sleeping up there"
