Newport Seafood and Wine trip

We decided to go to the wine festival last minute and were able to rent this beautiful home. Had everything you could need including a beautiful view! Would be perfect for a family trip also!

A beautiful view of the ocean

Beautiful house. Great views of the ocean. The hot tub on the deck was appreciated.The rooms are spacious and the kitchen perfect.Only one negative point: why those high fancy beds?! Far too high for older people!

Fishing trip with all the amenities

This was a beautiful home for three couples! Lots of room. The hot tub was a great morning with coffee addition and a great evening relaxation spot. Overall, very comfortable and clean! The office was great, I brought some crafting projects and was able to lay them all out without disturbing the others space! Amazing home! Parking was awesome!!!!

Easy, comfortable vacation No problems, although the heat pump works overtime. A message on thermostat may indicate a dirty or compromised filter. Loved the beautiful art on the walls. Also appreciated the well appointed kitchen’

Reviewer Comments: Everything was nice but nothing over the top the house could use some upgrades( bathroom floors pealing up, bathroom fans are super loud) The worst part about the place was the master bedroom bed. It has a thick topper that sinks in the center. Wasn’t able to sleep well and when I did woke up with back pain. Please fix this because this place is nice and would like to go back again.

The house is clean, spacious and the kitchen is extremely well stocked (loved our morning lattes!). We love the privacy of the setting (you don't see other houses from the deck, just trees and sea), and we used the hot tub nearly every night.The location is also great. It's an easy drive to Newport for the aquarium, an easier drive to Yachats for coffee and croissants at Bread & Roses Bakery, and not too long to Florence to ride the dunes.When you're not hiking Devil's Churn, the hosts have provided games, puzzles, binoculars and a great variety of books to enjoy, as well as Netflix and Hulu through Roku. The beds are firmer than I prefer, but in good shape, and the linens and towels are plentiful and of good quality.We'll probably stay here again in the future. And I already have a co-worker asking for the house information!Thanks for everything!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in many rental homes in the US, Canada and Europe and this home ranks close to the top. It is truly beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. The view is suburb. We enjoyed the hot tub and just being there. We are both in our 80's and it was very comfortable although my husband opted for the lower bed. We loved cooking in the kitchen. There was not only every conceivable cooking utensil available but several different kinds of each. The art and photographs all over the house were a joy to look at. And we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. The owner had instructions for everything. They had compiled books of all the local restaurants with menus and a huge book of places to see or things to do in detail, including Galleries. I was so impressed and grateful. So we were able do many activities, like the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Yaquina Head and Light House, and Heceta Head Light House. . We went to some restaurants, Ona in Yachats and the Luna Sea Fish House in Seal Rock. But we also enjoyed watching the birds soar by our window or the beautiful view below. It really was a fabulous stay and we hope to return.

The view was absolutely stunning and the hot tub was such a great experience. Waldport is a beautiful little town. Quieter than some of the other towns on the coast. Close enough, however to Newport and depot bay to the north and Yachats to the south. The homeowners have a great reference library to everything in the area including recommendations for restaurants. Highly recommend I would definitely stay here again.
