Winter Stay

We spent three nights and enjoyed watching the waves all day. The beds are comfy and the layout of the house is roomy even with 4 adults and a toddler. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful View

Love the view and direct access to the beach! We found the house to be homey and comfortable and appreciated that things in the house and cupboards are clearly labeled. There is plenty of seating, comfortable beds and the property was very quiet and peaceful.

Great location

We love this house! It's a great location and is well stocked. There were recent upgrades to the kitchen from when we last stayed here. The beach access is easy. Vacasa needs to do a better job cleaning between guests, but other than that it's a great home.

Great place to enjoy the Oregon coast

We had a wonderful time at Water’s Edge. This is a very spacious, nicely maintened home with great access to the beach. Large windows provide for magnificent ocean views in both directions. We have been vacationing on the Oregon coast for nearly 40 years and this is hands down the most well-stocked kitchen. Whether staying a weekend or a week they have thought of everything. A very comfortable place to stay.

Perfect for the dogs!

We’ve been coming here for 5 years after trying different homes. This one is perfect for dogs as it has a fenced yard and on a more secluded beach. We barely see anyone on weekdays in October and not many on weekends compared to other beaches. We love it so much we already booked next years trip!

Location was great. Vacasa/VRBO/Expedia all sent numerous texts which was annoying, and they didn’t nothing to resolve issues. If I was the homeowner I would look for another agency.

Weekend getaway

This was a great place for our weekend trip to introduce our son to the ocean. The house had all of the amenities we needed including very Beautiful views. The only downside was that the beach access ‘trail’ was very steep and narrow. The trail was easily traversed by my husband and I but difficult for my in-laws who are spry but in there 70’s.

Perfect beachside retreat

We will definitely be back. Absolutely perfect little place right on the beach with a dog friendly fenced yard. House is well appointed and clean. We had big plans of eating out every night but wound up going to Rays in Waldport and grilling every night back at the house. It was so comfortable and inviting we just wanted to be there close to the beach. It was perfect! We’ll be booking again soon!

Beautiful view of the ocean

This property was perfectly located. Great views. Comfortable home. Nice amenities. Waking up to the sight of the ocean was a treat. Property management was each to reach and prompt to respond to our inquiries. I highly recommend this property. The only inconvenience was the late check-in and early check-out times.

Nice location

Property has very nice fenced yard for our dog and the view was awesome. Easy, short access to the beach. The place is in need of updating it is very dated. I am not sure it was as clean as it could have been, especially since it was supposed to have been "covid clean". It smelled old and musty. Overall nice stay.

Great location.

The house and property is wonderful. Fenced yard for dogs. Could use some repair to the fence. Someone crammed driftwood into bush to block holes. Need some kind of railing or steps to be able to use path to beach. I could get down, not up. Had to use neighbors access. New bedding was nice. This was my 4th visit to this home.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WE FULLY ENJOYED OUR TIME AT WATER'S EDGE IN WALDPORT. THE OCEAN COULD BE SEEN FROM EVERYWHERE IN THE HOUSE. THE KITCHEN WAS FULLY STOCKED. THE BEACH WAS JUST A 100 FOOT WALK FROM THE HOUSE. OUR DOG ENJOYED THE FULLY FENCED YARD. OUR SON HAS ALREADY RESERVED THE HOUSE FOR HIS FAMILY LATER THIS MONTH. WE PLAN TO COME BACK VERY SOON.

Lovely stay

Everything was as the listing stated. However, we never did find the bathmat that was on the listing and on the note in the bathroom. So it was not safe for me, and elderly person, to use that shower. That was not helpful for me as I cannot fall down. Also, the floodlights out in the yard on the corner of the house did not work.

Good location but needs some maintenance

We've stayed here several times. Not fancy but it works. However, this trip had a couple of issues. Also note; one of the beds sits very high. Pet stains on the master bedroom carpet. This IS a dog friendly house but usually those stains are treated. The bed sheets were pilly and rough. Most importantly, the chain link fence on the north side is deteriorating and there are holes that are big enough for least a medium sized dog to get through. We almost lost our pup. Don't let the shrubbery covering the fence fool you. Hopefully they can fix these soon

Loved the location and the house

This house is right off of hwy 101 and has direct access to the beach. Our group of 6 was quite comfortable with plenty of space inside to hang out and play games as well as to find privacy in the three sleeping areas if needed. You can see and hear the ocean from the living room. We had dogs with us and loved that there was a grassy fenced yard so we could let them out to potty without having to put them on leash. There was a provided scoop and bucket to pick up after them. There is also an "airlock" for the front door. You have to go through a gate in a privacy fence before reaching the front door. This makes it more difficult for a dog to escape. The beach access requires taking a very short trail over a small mound to get to the beach. Iif you have mobility issues, you might find it difficult. However, my 75 year old mom with some mobility issues was able to do it with assistance. The beach on the other side is fantastic! We were there in October and there were not many other people.

Beautiful beach location

This property was in an excellent location to enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The big king beds were comfortable and not too firm. This really was a great place to stay. There was plenty of room for the whole family and the kitchen had all the tools you needed. I would recommend they go through the shared pantry every once in a while. I went through it and threw away items that expired 7 years ago. I will say the faucets can be confusing at times, when you think you're turning it to hot the water just turns off. Once you figure out the trick it's not too bad. While the property could use some updating, we really enjoyed our stay there. The most frustrating part of this stay was when I tried to shorten my stay by a couple days due to a scheduling conflict with my son's school. I had to go back and forth with the management company because they were not answering my questions about adjusting the number of days we we're staying. Eventually they just refused to allow us to shorten our stay. So we ended up paying for two days we weren't even there. We attempted to shorten more than a month out from our stay.

Awesome

Wonderful place. Excellent location, setting and views. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood and home. The home itself was very clean and comfortable and the amenities were great. Whole family loved it. Will be returning.
