"The Mayfair hotel in Belmar is a quaint old hotel from ages past. The pros: winter rates are very reasonable for what you get. Although the decor is a bit old and dated, it is clean and well run. Beachfront rooms have a great view of the ocean… you can hear the waves crashing as you sleep! The amenities are more than adequate. Cons: the rooms are small, but clean. It’s an old hotel with no elevators to 2nd and 3rd floors. Not a problem for me, but would be for handicapped/limited mobility...

No issues with crazy guests, or noise, etc.
The surrounding area is great as well with restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance.
There’s even a rental car service a 10 min walk from the motel if needed.
Stayed for 3 days and would definitely go back. "

"My father and I were there for his 65th high school reunion in Spring Lake. This condo style home was absolutely perfect. Blocks away from everything so charming. The staff was amazing especially the front desk. We enjoyed breakfast in the breezeway every day. The rooms were beautifully decorated very comfortable. This town is precious.
