「Aside from being in a wonderful location, the house was immaculate upon arrival, with a fire ready to be lit. Perfect after a long drive. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen kitted with everything you would require. The same with the BBQ area. We wanted a relaxing 5 days away, and with the vista from the back veranda, this is exactly what was delivered. The owners were easy to communicate with, prompt and very friendly and helpful. All up, 5 stars. Highly recommended.」

「The quoted regular tariff was $2800 Peter but we were given a $900 discount which was a good start. However, the we were not provided with linen or towels. The fridge was dirty and we found a mouldy cheese knife in the bottom when we cleaned it. There were four remotes for the television rendering it inoperable. The drier was stuffed with bed linen and the laundry exit on the emergency plan was deadlocked. Not up to standard for the price.」

「Avonside Estate is fantastic - wholly recommended. The cabin was amazing and very comfortable. The animals were beautiful and hosts were kind enough to let us leave our dog inside while we went skiing. The welcome basket was very welcome and the chilli jam amazing. Thanks for a wonderful time.」

「My family and I had a great weekend away at this property. It was so big for 3 families to enjoy each others company but have there own space. The views were amazing. Comfortable bedding and all the cozy comforts of home. I would highly recommend this home for groups or large families. Pitty the weather was warm. If it were cooler we would have loved to have used the beautiful fire places.」

「The 2 storey property is located midway between Cooma and Jindabyne. We stayed 7 nights with a party of 4 adults and 2 children. Kitchen was well equipped for our stay, including generous provisions of basic supplies. Full size Fridge/freezer worked well as did the washing machine located in a room adjacent to the house. 「I met the property's cleaners while visiting the area in advance of our stay and they were great in telling me what to expect as I had never stayed at that property before.
