Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms. Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that.

Golf competition stay

A fantastic location for any ardent golfer. The practice facilities, the hotel, clubhouse and course all contained within a compact area. The staff were outstanding and very accommodating.The rooms were spotless and quiet. Breakfast was spot on.All in all a top class stay. The bar staff, booking in and reception, golf and catering staff are a credit to the resort.

My son and I stayed for one night whilst in the area. We weren’t there for golf but did enjoy the driving range in the morning. The resort is nice, a little tired in places, the gym could do with some new boxing gloves 😂! But all in all very nice stay. The only reason I scored 4 was the bed, we had a twin room in the hotel. My son is 6ft 1 and his feet were hanging over the end of the small bed.

Paper thin walls.

The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from the room next door. There were of golfing groups who returned to the hotel very late and very loudly. On the second night the batteries in the exterior door electronic door lock were running low and therefore constantly beeped. We reported this to the bar staff (the only employees we could find) who told us they didn’t have any new batteries. Would I stay here again - nope !!

Over night stay

The room was very hot and we were woken up by a tractor cutting the hedges at 7.30am. The bathrooms could do with being updated - very clinical and reminded us of hospital bathrooms. The breakfast was good and we requested vegan options which they did.
