Lovely country pub, perfect for a stop over or to stay a few nights in the countryside. Staff were friendly and thoughtful, the food was excellent, and the restaurant/beer garden out the back was lovely in the warm summer eve.

The room was a generous size, bed comfortable, bathroom perfect. The pub is set in a lovely location and we were able to enjoy the beer garden. The food was also good. We hope to stay again.

We had an excellent stay. The accommodation had an awesome rustic feel with newly renovated, clean rooms and the restaurant below was also fantastic. The location was beautiful and close enough to walk to the Stourhead and take in the stunning gardens. Staff was also very kind and helpful. Cannot reccomend this place enough!

Lovely friendly staff, really helpful as we were arriving late. Very comfortable rooms with great coffee and very nice shower and shampoo products .
Excellent breakfast xx great start to the day .

Really enjoyed our stay. Welcome was courteous and helpful. We had an evening meal which was delicious. Service was great. Breakfast was the highlight! Enjoyed the Dorset dairy yoghurt. One very minor point no smoked salmon alternative to bacon with the eggs Benedict but mushroom was suggested instead and was equally delicious. Overall an excellent stay room was comfy, cosy and clean - thank you 🙏

My partner and me stayed during the first horrible heatwave in June, to get some respite in the AC that was featured in the amenities of the property. Not only was there AC in the room, but also in the pub/restaurant area! It was absolutely delightful - we struggled leaving!
The staff were so friendly and attentive; nothing was too much trouble. We were given a flask of fresh milk to have with tea/coffee in the room, and some freshly baked cookies.
I couldn’t get the shower to cool down, this may have been user error, but nothing I did seemed to make the water colder than scorching. There was also no place in the bathroom to hang the hand towel, so it had to sit beside the sink.
The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was super clean and well furnished.
Breakfast included the next morning was a great start to the day, with a great selection of continental and hot. I wish they had an eggs royale option, as this would have been the perfect breakky for me. The full english sufficed however, and everything tasted fresh and well cooked.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here at the Bell and Crown, and are keen to pay them another visit.

Fabulous stay, staff lovely. Food amazing. Rooms spotless and very comfortable. I always worry about not sleeping, due to uncomfortable beds, but I slept soooo well.
Wish It was closer to home we're over 4hours away.
Would highly recommend.

Everything is great! Room was clean and very cozy. It had very good in room coffee, tea and upon arrival we got fresh milk and cookies.
breakfast was excellent.
