「Welcoming, friendly staff, clean and well maintained room and property, super comfy bed. Breakfast and dinner offered a variety of fresh cooked meals which were really good. The pub has its own car park too. Quiet at night considering the location in the middle of the village, great to have a window that opened in my bedroom with a decent blackout blind. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. A true hidden gem of local hospitality.」

「A historic building in a central position in Frome, clearly an old coaching inn or similar. The bedrooms sit within a maze of staircases and corridors. Some stairs are best suited to young mountain goats. My room was on the top floor, up a narrow, steep stair with a tricky turn. My stick and I managed it, just, and staff brought up and took down my case. I expected an attic-type room, but it was spacious, with high ceilings, nicely laid out and with a clean, well-maintained bathroom - full...

「A nice stay. A lovely pub right in the middle of Frome. We stayed here to go to an event at the Cheese and Grain which was perfect. Just be aware that as the rooms are part of an active pub you may get some noise on busier nights」
