We had a really nice stay, and the staff were excellent, as was the food. Our room was in the oldest part of the Grade 2 listed building so there were some low doorframes & plenty of stairs, but I would stay here again & it's in an excellent location (with off-street parking) for exploring the area.

Staff were excellent, extremely helpful and friendly. Everywhere was very clean and breakfast very good, all local produce. Only reason for 3* review was our room. Basically it was a single room with a double bed wedged in it. You could only get in one side of the bed, not easy for over 60s. And the room had an unpleasant smell like something had gone off in there. Only there for 2 nights so didn’t make a thing of it and just left the window open all the time.
