"You can certainly tell the property was very, very old....tons of character for sure! A total step back in time, but there were some great modern conveniences; heat pumps, electronic locks for check in and for the rooms, wifi. The host was very accomodating. "The staff was extremely helpful and very genuinely kind. The room was spotless and the bed was very clean and comfortable. I give a A++++ to Trade Winds on the Bay! We had room 207, I apologize that we forgot to leave a tip, I will call as soon as we get home to Vinalhaven, and will pay a tip to whomever cleans our room. We will be returning anytime we need to stay or as we often do, get stuck because of boat and weather issues. A+++++"
