The option to have a fire upstairs or downstairs made our stay extra cozy (how many people have wood burning fireplaces in their bedroom in the real world?). The kitchen is well stocked (full set of pots and pans plus a waffle maker and a blender) so one never has to leave but the cottage is located within a few minutes of Manchester where there are a ton of options for dining and shopping.
