Authentic Log cabin with something for everyone!

An authentic log cabin on 7 acres with a small lake in the front yard. Sleeps 10 in beds (10 maximum capacity). More wildlife than imaginable. Every time of day brings out different animals and birds. Built for family gatherings and fun. Enjoy swimming in the lake. Enjoy feeding the fish (we do not allow fishing) as all fish have been hand raised and are pet like. We do provide fish food for your enjoyment (and theirs:). Enjoy local historical places, numerous wineries and breweries all within 10 miles. Ride the Katy Trail, and do some local shopping. Be sure to visit historical downtown Washington, which is one of the top ten historical districts in the US. Daniel Boone home and monument are close and worth visiting. Busch's wildlife conservation area has over 50 stocked lakes for fishing and other outdoor fun. All of these attractions are within 10 minutes of the cabin.

GREAT CABIN!
Me and a couple of my besties stayed for the weekend so we could run a race, and enjoy some wineries near by. The cabin was so great! Very chill and relaxing. Lots of space, comfortable beds, and we felt very safe! We will definitely be renting again!

This place is so great! Every year my crew of friends picks a rental location for a weekend to stay in and play board games and have fun. We’ve done this for 6 years and this is one of the better locations we’ve found for our annual game weekend. The location is so nice and peaceful. The open space in the living room, kitchen, and loft is great. It really is larger than what the photos suggest. I’m excited to hopefully stay here again!!

Not only was the cabin absolutely perfect for a special holiday that my husband and I were able to share with my 84 year-old father, but Tami went far above and beyond the call of duty, buy mailing back my very special blanket that was left behind! With only 7 minutes to Washington, everything you might have forgotten and need is just a short drive. away; however, you still feel like you are at a private cabin removed from the modern world. And we were able to even bring our dogs with us! Regarding any negative comments, there was not one single sign of any mice or bugs, and the cabin was decorated for Christmas! We were a little slow getting out and the cleaning crew arrived just as we were leaving, so it was also clear that any missed crumbs or trash would not be setting in the cabin to attract any extra critters either. I would recommend with a full 5 stars (10 if I could!).

Beautiful cabin and surrounding grounds. Well stocked and very clean. Enjoyed time around fire pit and at the large kitchen table. Beds were comfortable. No complaints from anyone in our group, thanks!

Very quaint setting and plenty of room. Comfortable beds and good kitchen amenities. Would like to have been able to use fireplace and owner needs to adress the mouse problem.

Nice atmosphere
Enjoyed the overall experience. Beds comfortable. Nice to have good cooking utensils! No Keurig? We only brought pods. Never found that. Had to go out for coffee. Taxidermy a bit much. Raccoon scared my wife in the kitchen. Nice touch but a bit too much for our taste. Water. Mention bringing bottled water for anyone squeamish to the smell of the hot water is quite strong. Overall clean and as expected for a log cabin. Maybe loose a few taxidermy. Overwhelming.
