Enjoyed my stay in this immaculate, adorable VRBO. Minutes from the Stadium Armory metro making it convenient to get anywhere in the DC area. The apartment was quiet, comfortable and had everyone one could need. Would definitely return!

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this property and would happily return! It was so close to the metro in a quiet neighborhood and it was easy to get anywhere we wanted for sightseeing. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy breakfasts and a dinner. The Safeway store is a short walk and there are also a couple restaurants and a great bakery nearby.

This lovely apartment is 2 minutes from the Subway, making a tourist visit very easy if you are not driving a car. Well kept, clean, and exactly as described in the listing. We would likely stay again when we return to DC!

Well done small space

This condo was perfect for my brother and I to share. Every inch of this small space was used well and we were very comfortable. The location walking distance from a lot of great restaurants and parking was easy.

Best D.C. Vrbo!!

Our stay in D.C. was absolutely incredible!! Everyone was so friendly with us and very communicative if we had an issue with anything. It was super close to the metro which made traveling easier for our group. Overall it was a wonderful home to come and rest after a long day of sightseeing. We will definitely be back to this Vrbo on our future trips to D.C.

Very comfortable apartment

It was a clean, comfortable, newly updated basement unit. The neighborhood and street were very quiet. Large, well-equipped kitchen. Very close to both the metro and bus (96). The biggest negative is that there is no unrestricted parking during the week; 20 minute walk to park the car. Communication, while frequent and responsive, wasn't consistent.

Clean and convenient

Just as advertised. Very clean and cozy basement. The only drawback was the squeaky floors above the bedroom when the upstairs residents walked. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy and Quiet

This charming apartment was located in a cute and quiet neighborhood that was located within walking distance of the metro. Everything was very clean and well stocked. We appreciated the extras that were provided from the tea to toiletries. The bathroom storage was limited, but otherwise everything was fantatic. Would highly recommend.

Review of My Stay I recently stayed at this unit for 9 days, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The location is incredibly convenient, being very close to the metro, which made getting around Washington D.C. a breeze. The service provided by the Home Sweet City Team was outstanding. On my first night, I encountered an issue with the heating. I reported the problem, and despite the late hour, they promptly sent over two heaters, allowing me to stay comfortably. The next day, a mechanic arrived and quickly fixed the heater. The response time was impressive, and every interaction with the team was marked by kindness and professionalism. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Washington D.C. You won’t be disappointed!

Perfect Rental marred by Utility

It was the perfect rental for my family vacation. Size, facitly and ammenities were spot on. However, a major dissapoint was the fact that the shower only had about 5 or less of hot water. Every time theshower was used, the hot water would go out. It issue was communicated several times and we were assured that it would be resolved but it never was. On our final night stay, there was no hot water at all.

Good location, quiet neighborhood

We stayed for two days in a family trip. The house is located in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to transit. It’s a bit far from the nearest grocery shop since we didn’t drive. The room is clean and well organized. Check/in was very easy. Kitchen appliances were well maintained. The bathroom is surely a bit small to use. The sink is very shallow and we had to leave our toothbrush and skincare products outside of the bathroom. One week before our stay I have communicated with the manager and asked if we could get a hot water kettle for making tea. We never got the reply on if it would be provided. And of course there wasn’t a kettle during our stay. So I would recommend better communication. Overall it is a nice location and clean house to stay.

Great location and very nice amenities

The apartment is very nice-easy access, very nice layout, quiet neighborhood which is close to a metro stop. It was also nice to have a fully stocked kitchen and complimentary personal products-shampoo, body wash, lotions.Good place to start in DC.
