Flies in the room

There are flies flying around the room even change to 2nd room. Reported to front desk in the morning at 4AM and she said nothing she can do but will let managers know in later mornin, but eventually no one follow anything to me.

Convenient location but we had a spider coming down from the ceiling. In the morning we found a cockroach running on the floor coming out of the noisy air conditioning vent where the filter was not placed in the correct place. In general for the money we paid we were not pleased.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are small for the price, with no working space aside from a tiny serving table and chair. Reminds me of NYC accommodations. This used to be one of the nicest hotels in DC, but it’s showing its age and you can see where they’ve updated, but it could use some more TLC to bring it back to its former glory. One of the best features is The Dubliner restaurant and bar are attached, and the 24-hr coffee service on the 2nd floor is very nice. Plus, it’s an easy walk to the Capitol and congressional office buildings.

Friendly front desk, they offered a pack&play for our baby without us asking/saying anything. The gym was great, didn’t love the smaller elevator door down at the basement - made it a bit harder for me to bring my baby stroller, but I made it work. The location was great, the room was good, welcome package was a nice touch - overall good stay!

Only onsite dining option was an attached tiny, crowded, and noisy pub. “Powerscourt Living Room” was a joke and not worth the “resort fee.” Essentially this was a foyer area, not a guest lounge.

The sofa bed was not set up with clean linen when we arrived and the heating was not functioning. The manager apologized and ended up not charging us for the first night. Also,a towel bar on the shower door was loose and we needed to have a maintenance person repair it.

The location was great! Rooms were clean however, we had a room that faced the street and you could hear every siren, car horn, loud conversation that was happening outside throughout all hours of the day/night.The restaurant connected to the hotel was charming but you can smell the fish and chips from the lobby. We opted not to go for breakfast out of fear of smelling like a pub the rest of the day.
