I gave this stay mostly 3 out of 5 stars. The biggest issue was the room had a noticeable residual marijuana smell, which made the stay less pleasant. There was also a slightly musty/moldy odor, and I noticed some traces of what appeared to be mold in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was extremely small and cramped. On the positive side, the room was adequate for a short unexpected overnight stay, but the odor and bathroom condition kept this from being a better rating. Staff was wonderful though.

This wasn't the worst place to stay. It served the purpose for a one night stay cheaper than staying at the National Harbor or MGM. We were able to get an uber for a decent price and was only 10 min away from National Harbor and MGM. The staff was friendly, especially the lady at the front desk who checked us out (has braces and a big contagious smile)! The rooms were your typical lower end rooms but they were decently cleaned with a working microwave and refrigerator. The one thing that I wish I knew prior to checking in was that there is a mandatory hold on your credit card for 100.00 that they take out right then and there. You get the money back within 3-5 business days.

The air conditioned room was great. Ample hot water for all guests at any hour; I prefer individual soaps and shampoos, not a fan of all the pumping so I have learned to take my own. I did see a couple of unwelcoming faces and hopefully that will get better with time. They are actively upgrading/ making repairs to the rooms .On my departure I noticed the opening of a convenience store directly in front of the hotel so that should be a plus for future use.

The AC did not blow. It sucked. The evening ended up a little warmer than expected. The prostitute standing outside of our room sucked less than the AC did. We’ve stayed in worse places but the staff was nice. The hotel was located behind an abandoned bank. That was kind of odd. It served it’s purpose.
