"Room was humid even with the AC unit running. We only stayed two nights so didn't take time to use many of the provided amenities on site. Pool looked like it was nice and provided many options/resources that could be borrowed. Simple coffee/hot water provided in the office area. Room appeared remodeled though the main door to the outside had a small corner chipped off so you could see daylight but we didn't have any insect/pest issues thankfully. Easy parking, convenient location!"

"Although this is an older property, it is very clean and well-appointed. The room has everything you’d need and we loved both pool areas! First floor was awesome/ walked right out to the pool. There’s a table and chairs both in the room and on the little patio. Great location in the heart of DC. If we return to DC, we would come back."

"The place is sooo charming, but with charming comes some inconvenience. I'm used to an in-room coffee maker, just assumed there would be one. There was not but coffee available near the check-in desk. Was going to grab a cup to take for our ride but no travel cups with lids. Saw a woman who was staying in a different building carrying 2 ceramic mugs to her room. That can get hot :) Also, our room named "Hulda" had the sink in a tight corner and no comfy chairs. Really cute upholstered wood chairs but not practical for watching TV. 0ur TV was oddly placed to watch from bed which was the only alternative. One other thing, the pool is a lap pool. Didn't even bother suiting up for that and walking to the separate building called the "Commons". Ice machine is also in a separate building. After all that, do want to mention again what a beautiful place it is. It also is near a public beach on Green Bay!"

"Loved the location. This is a good location to visit other areas like Sister Bay, Fish Creek, Washington Island, etc. We loved how close we were to the lake. Beach wasn’t big but it was great to have one so close for the kids. Pool wasn’t huge but plenty of room. Great breakfast and try the Fish Boil at night."
