Pre-Mother's Day jaunt - all within 30 miles of our house. Nikon D3400. It was a beautiful day but a little hazy which made photography challenging.

70-300 mm zoom set at 82 mm. ISO 100, f/10.0, 1/640 sec. I tried to do some post-processing to make the Olympic Mountains pop but the sun and haze was beyond anything I could handle.

Washington Park is a 220 acre park not far from the city of Anacortes. The park offers beaches, boat launches, camping, picnic area and hiking. There are hiking and biking trails or a 2 mile paved road that goes around the park. I took the paved road. It is well maintained and traveled by walkers, runners and a few cars. This view is looking towards Anacortes about sunset time with a full moon.
