"A little quirky (read the brochure about how it was lumberjack housing and survived the earthquake of 1964) but has everything you need for one or two people. Really enjoyed my stay. :) Great location -- Jackie's Place is great for breakfast just a couple blocks away. Spenard Roadhouse, Bear Tooth, and Chilkoot Charlie's also easy walking distance. When I was there in May there was even a Farmer's Market nearby on Saturday. Hope to stay here again!"

"The cabin was cozy and welcoming. Even with the other cabins near by, we never heard other guest. The property was completely fenced in other than the entrance which was nice to be able to take our dog out and sit by the fire pit area. (We didn’t have a fire, but they had everything you would need In order to). Will definitely stay again."

"What a charming cabin! It was very welcoming. I greatly appreciated the instructions that were texted to us, and that were left in the cabin. That was very helpful. We had a very relaxing stay and a lot of fun. It was great to have the games and the DVDs there; our grandchildren spent a couple of nights with us, as well, because it was such a nice place. "This home was larger than we thought it looked online, an older home but cozy. We had an extended stay and had no problems fully living life in here. Really is dog friendly. We and our dog were endlessly entertained by the local dogs which were insanely friendly. A nice safe area for walking with amazing views of mountains. Loved the drive, and Hatcher Pass and Government Peak are minutes away."

"The cottage is well taken care of and clean. No AC (which is typical for Alaska). We were told there was a fan, but there wasn't (only 2 heaters) which made the 1st night hard since the cottage was hot & stuffy (even with the windows open). Blackout curtains would be a good idea since the sun is up until midnight which made it hard to sleep. Overall, we would book this place again."
