Temple Views | Wat Pra Si Sanphet: One of the most beautiful sites in Ayutthaya and the holiest temple in Thailand’s ancient capital is Wat Pra Si Sanphet, also known as the Temple of the Holy, Splendid Omniscient. Built in 1351, it served as the temple of the royal family and no monks lived there as it was used exclusively for royal ceremonies. The most prominent structures on the site are the three Chedis which were destroyed along with the rest of the temple when the Burmese invaded in 1767. Restoration work begun in 1956, however only the three Chedis were restored. Without a doubt being built for a King, nothing was spared when it came to the beauty of this temple complex. Temple Views | Wat Pra Si Sanphet: Two of the magnificent Chedis on the temple grounds. Before becoming a temple, the grounds of Wat Pra Si Sanphet was the palace of King Ramathibodi I. In 1448 King Borommatrailokanat built a new palace to the north and the old palace grounds was converted into a holy site. Three Chedis were built in 1492 by the order of his son King Ramathibodi II with two of them used to house his ashes and the ashes of his brother, King Borommaracha III. It’s nice to be a King! I wouldn’t mind at all having something so grand dedicated to me when I pass. These ruins are part of the Historic City of Ayuttaya UNESCO World Heritage Site. The three stupas hold the ashes of three important kings who ruled the kingdom. The ruins are part of the royal palace that was built sometime between 1351-1369. The ruins are very awesome to see but people do not pay much attention to signs about not climbing on them - but no one enforces the rules either. Sad to see such old architecture being disrespected by someone trying to take a perfect selfie.

非常滿意 雖然離市區會遠一點 但外面就有MRT我很方便 入住期間雖然在施工但不會太吵 冰箱是中型的所以除霜會有聲音 除此之外Cp值很高 早餐很豐盛好吃 樓下有按摩跟燒肉店 熱水也很充足 棉被溫暖 更貼心的是我沒有告知生日什麼的 第一次入住 他們竟然幫我準備手繪卡片跟小蛋糕 超級好的 真的很驚喜 超喜歡
