“The staff is helpful and cheerful. When I get hurt during the New Year, no Tuk Tuk can be called. The boss of hostel drives me to the hospital and wait me for over half hour.
The environment is clean and quiet. You can see the reality of monks just in front of the guesthouse, comparing with the "tourist" monks in French area.
But the hotel is in the another side of the river. Bamboo bridge is built during the dry season but it charges 5000K for go-and-back per person. If you stay 4 days,……
“Lovely stay on the river in Luang Prabang. A little far from the center of town but that is a good and bad thing. There's a shuttle and you really feel a sense of space and comfort.”
“It’s located in the centre, about 10-minute walk away from the night market, which makes it quiet at night. The swimming pool is a really nice place to chill especially during the hot summer in Luang Prabang.
Breakfast buffet with adequate food choices. The freshly grounded coffee was a highlight.”
“What a fabulous place in an amazing location, just a few moments walk from the best cafes and bakeries / many temples / night market etc, yet it’s somehow so peaceful at Pha Nya. Our family room was lovely with very comfortable beds and lots of space for the 4 of us. We even looked out onto the entrance of a smaller temple and could watch the monks set off on their early morning walk to collect alms….quite magical. The staff were helpful and friendly, we really could not fault anything. Would……
“Good stay overall, very friendly staff helping with info and tips around the place, room was clean, breakfast had inly few choices but pretty good overall”
“Staying here was magical. It was beyond what we’ve expect both in hotel and service. Every staff members went past and beyond to provide us with a comfortable stay.
The hotel is also located at perfect walking distance from everything. We didn’t have to walk far to experience the magic of Luang Prabang.
I highly recommend this hotel and this city.
Simply magical”
“Very clean hotel. Super friendly staff. Nice environment. Super nice breakfast, that u cannot miss that. Bicycles that u can rent for to explore the city. ”
“Baan Pila is owned by two French women. One of the owners is a partner in a restaurant we recommend called Bouang. They are located walking distance to the night market. We enjoyed the mango room. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We enjoyed using the free bikes available to explore the town. ”
“We really loved our stay here (4 nights). We had two adjoining rooms, perfect for the three of us. The breakfast was terrific and the people delightful. Plus this hotel is in a great location--close to the night market and lots of eateries. ”
“A great place to stay in the heart of Luang Prabang. Rooms are large and lovely and clean. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice though limited is very nice and served in the lovely garden area.”
