“Cleanliness of the property and facilities good. Description on sleeps upto to 4 and sofa bed inside Sky Pod 1 is incorrect. The sofa is a standard sofa and only contains a double bed. When questioned with host via email I was offered a mattress for hire. When I pointed out the accommodation is advertised as standard sleeps upto 4 and the accommodation is stated sky pod 1 with a sofa bed, I received no response. Also had issues with set up of the TV. Could not connect the TV to WI Fi for……

“Big changes since new ownership- none of them good unfortunately! 👎 Since new owners came in: Soap in rooms GONE ❌ Shower gel in rooms GONE ❌ Biscuits in rooms GONE ❌ Real butter in restaurant GONE ❌ Local cheese at breakfast GONE ❌ Fair midweek room rates£ GONE ❌ Measly penny pinching! Sad to see as the excellent staff here look demoralised by what’s happening around them! I sense they’re embarrassed! If your budget runs to a standard double room you’ll experience an uncomfortable dated……

“The location is remote, peaceful and lovely. It's an old building and full of character with huge, comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful. Breakfasts were a little limited, but adequate. We didn't enjoy the one dinner we had, but it was good value. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for its excellent value accommodation and location.”
