“We really enjoyed staying here! The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. It has a nice layout and well decorated with well thought of extras from the host (shampoo, laundry and tea). It is in a good location with a quick drive to downtown. You could probably walk but it was very hot during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Amazing getaway to focus on writing.”

“We loved our stay here. The owners were very friendly and gave us ideas of places to eat and see around town. The property is beautiful. It was perfect for just the two of us. Would highly recommend staying here if you plan on being in the area.”

“Very quiet experience and unique property. Very quiet and beautiful surroundings. Nice amenities!!”

“Cute downtown area with multiple spots to grab breakfast and convenience store stuff. Easy access to Harper's Ferry and made for a nice restful spot between hikes in nature and around town.”

“Great views, house is clean and cozy with a fireplace”

“Overall, the cabin was very nice and provided a quiet getaway with relatively easy access to surrounding accommodations, including activities and restaurants.”

“Amazing view and well appointed home. We had everything we needed and plenty of space to relax and spread out in. Loved the loft bedroom and fire pit - but the best part was the sunset right out front.”

“Very friendly host who made communications easy. We left our iPad behind and they called us right away. The apartment was large, beds were comfortable, and the bathroom renovation was beautiful with a great shower. It is about a block from the C&O trail plus free parking on the property.”

“This is a nice secluded place to unwind.”

“Great stay, very easy and reasonable.”

“Great place for a relaxing stay. Having a 4x4 or AWD vehicle is highly recommended”

“I only had a few questions and Michael got right back to me. It is a very convenient area to stay. So many things are in walking distance. It is quduring the day and at night.”

“The cabin had a nice layout. My adult daughter and her boyfriend enjoyed having a private space in the basement and my teenager enjoyed having the main level bedroom to herself. My husband and I took the upstairs. I can only give a 3 star review as the cabin needs significant deferred maintenance. Examples include: a tile in the kitchen that is held up with tape that's starting to give, many doors are worn, chipped, damaged, there was mold in the bathroom window trim, etc. There also was an odor……

“My husband and I chose the Silo house because of its uniqueness. Overall, it was a neat place to stay.”

“Es war ein Highlight unserer Road Tour, wir wären auch länger geblieben falls es nicht ausgebucht gewesen wäre. Neben allem anderen hat's dem Junior (13) das Schlafen direkt unterm Dach angetan, mir die tolle Veranda.”

“Great location - can walk to restaurants & coffee shops.”

“Absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was exceptional, clean and welcoming. The only suggestion I would make is for a privacy fence at the end of the drive. We had kids on dirt bikes watching us in the hot tub from the end of the drive. Otherwise I would fully recommend. We will stay there again in the future.”

“A beautiful property in a safe neighborhood”

“Accessibility was an issue due to the configuration of the house on the property and the main area in front of the house was blocked off. Yard was not in good shape.”
