"My view was of mechanicals on the roof with a very limited view of the ocean. The floor was sticky room was not very clean."

"The spa was warm and welcoming. There was three of us in our group. We are not new to Charleston and we have done that before this is our first experience at the hotel Bennett. Beautiful property welcoming at their valet and luggage were exceptional. We visited the spa and as it was wonderful, it wasn’t exceptional for the price. I have been to the Charleston place and have spoke about it for many many years. Decided to try something new and did not meet my expectations. Not that they did not care, but it was not 100% the quality that I have received at the Charleston place. That being said the hotel is beautiful concierge, the guest services exceptional, it was a spa that I found lacking. For all the experience gets an eight out of 10. The reason I read it this way it’s because at 1:30 in the morning. I imagine it was the wedding party or something along those lines, got sick outside of our room played loud music and was a little boisterous. But all in all we had a very good experience at the hotel Bennett."

"Great customer service and very nice rooms "

"Truly horrifying. The hotel was “overbooked”. They gave us keys to a room that was already occupied. When we went to the front desk to address it, we discovered this happened to multiple people. They told us they double booked multiple rooms and were still selling more online through third party providers. They had no solution other than canceling our reservation. The front desk employees just kept blaming one another. I’m not sure I’d feel safe staying here on a good day. It was hard to even get to the rooms because of the people camped out on the outside hallways smoking. The parking was really far away AND cost extra to even use it. The whole situation was just a little sketchy. Thankfully we were able to get a refund and stayed at a safer hotel across the water. "
