"I can’t say enough about this amazing little hotel right on the beautiful lake. Perfect location, incredible staff and delicious food. Extremely accommodating and a big thank you to Receptionist Alex, who was extremely kind, patient and helpful with our stay and plans. The beds were so comfortable and the big modern bathroom was excellent. Parking was not an issue and the breakfast was wonderful. The boat is something you should not miss and the highlight of our stay, hiking lake Obersee. Do not let the complaints about no elevator hold you back if you don’t mind some stairs. Perfect location for the boat and area. I’m so glad we did two nights, we would have done 3 if able. I hope to be back soon! Do not pass this gem."

"Die Ferienunterkunft ist superschön am Hang gelegen und man hat von dem großen Balkon in der Ferienwohnung 3 einen wunderbaren Blick über das Tal in Ramsau. Die Ferienwohnung ist bayerisch eingerichtet und ist für 2 Personen absolut ausreichend ausgestattet. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Haus liegt am Hang, man muss also vom Ort aus etwas bergauf gehen oder fahren (aber darauf sollte man ja eingestellt sein, wenn man ins Berchtesgadener Land fährt)Man sollte darauf eingestellt sein, dass alle Verbrauchsartikel mitgebracht werden müssen, es gibt weder Toilettenpapaier, Geschirrspülmittel, Geschirrtücher, Salz, Öl oder sonstiges. Wäre gut, das im Vorfeld zu wissen. Die Geschäfte im Ort schließen spätestens um 18:00 Uhr"

"Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung von Herrn Klausner. Es ist eine sehr schöne, saubere und komplett ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist super. Es gibt eine Bushaltestelle in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Königssee ist sogar zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall noch einmal wieder!"

"This is an excellent hotel for its price point! I felt like I got a lot of value for what I paid. The rooms are clean though no frills. The staff is helpful and attentive. The spa was clean and nice, although it is only open for four hours in the evenings. If you are used to some of the more premium hotel/spas in the Berchtesgaden area, you won’t be impressed. That said, the fact that the Explorer had one, didn’t charge extra for it, and kept it very clean is a huge plus for me. The breakfast was fantastic, although go early if you want to partake in the DIY egg stations. I went in the summer, and you absolutely can’t beat where the location. A quick 10 minute walk to either the Konigssee or Jennerbahn. I literally was busy from the moment I got there on Friday afternoon to the moment I left on Monday morning. I highly recommend the Explorer for those looking for the Berchtesgaden experience without breaking the bank."

"Das Apartment entsprach unseren Vorstellungen. Es war sehr geräumig, einladend und sauber. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für eine Woche benötigt. Sogar Geschirrtücher wurden gestellt. Die Betten waren komfortabel und auf der Terrasse konnte man hervorragend frühstücken. Wir empfehlen mit dem Auto anzureisen da es in der Umgebung viel zu entdecken gibt. Allerdings ist in nur 2 Gehminuten direkt eine Bushaltestelle. Hier werden Sehenswürdigkeiten wie den Königssee oder Berchtesgaden angefahren.Wir kommen wieder da es noch viel zu entdecken gibt und das Wetter leider nicht ganz mitgespielt hat."
