You get exactly what you pay for here, and it’s not much. If you’re cheap or poor like me, this is where you want to be. Also, there are a lot of people in and out so if socializing with strangers is your thing you’re in for a treat. There’s a weird guy that sits by the front desk and stares at everyone that comes down the hall but there wasn’t a category to rate him. Every other rating is “okay” but I’d probably rate him as “not okay”. Maybe he’s an undercover security guard. He’s not going to make you feel safe in any case.

Pictures online are not accurate. Lots of homeless people living here. I had pets, so did others. Dogs barking all the time. Residents are noisy, which causes dogs to bark, which causes my dogs to bark. I barely slept. Almost checked out around 1 am because of the lack of quiet surroundings. As a single, female traveler, I was nervous about all the residents hanging outside. Didn't feel safe. I picked this place based on reviews and pictures. This is the 2nd time out of the last 2 that the online info was not accurate. I guess A1 can make everyone's hotel look spectacular. We are losing the truth from everything!!

Staff was very nice. Strong musty smell in the hallway. I could hear everything my neighbors were doing like the wall was made of paper. The bed was very uncomfortable like a cheap fold out bed.

We got to the place after midnight and we were given a room with people already staying in it. The walk from the room to the lobby was extremely long with tons of stairs, which was hard to do with two adults with bags and a car seat with a newborn in it. We were given a new room, which was just 2 rooms down from the original one we were given. So, once again, long trek back to the area where the room is. Only to get in there and the room was in horrible condition. Cobwebs everywhere and surfaces covered in dust. Room smelled like a literal sewer. Heat didn’t work and it was 10° outside at the time. Ended up going back to the lobby for the 3rd time and asked for a refund. But that was after being asked very rudely by the front desk attendant “what now?”. Just overall bad experience.

Staff was pleasant and polite, which I appreciated. However, the hotel appears to function largely as extended-stay or long-term housing, which wasn’t disclosed in the listing and made the environment feel different than expected for a short work trip. One safety concern: Door #3 near my room didn’t latch unless shut forcefully, and when I tried to use my key card it was already open. As a female solo traveler, that made me uncomfortable. I’d recommend calling ahead to clarify the purpose of the hotel (standard hotel short term stay vs long term affordable accommodations) if you’re expecting a traditional hotel stay.

The bed was very high. I am not a short person but I felt there should be a step stool to use to get in and out of it. It was very comfortable once there. There wasn’t a hair dryer, at least not one I could locate, unusual. Staff was very nice.
