Golf Weekend

Location was perfect for our tournament. Just the two of us so plenty of room. House could use some interior painting & carpet replaced, but clean inside. Exterior decks need painted & looked like some type of mold on outside porch ceiling which needs to be repaired/painted - we never spent time out there because of ceiling. One negative was air upstairs was not working when we got there, but was told it had been off for a while when I contacted host. It was 77 & took a while for it to get comfortable. Host replied to my message in a quick manner & told me some things I could do to help like open vents that were closed, turn down main floor unit, etc. One frustrating thing was gate to neighborhood is locked at night & I was given code to call host so she could open, but she would never answer so we had to sit outside gate until another car came for about 15 mins. She responded to my message several hours later & offered to compensate a small amount for our troubles. Said we would not have the issue the next night & she would have her phone with her. When we came in the next night there was a car in front of us so we didn't have to call to be let in. The front door lock was tricky & wouldn't always open easily, but after time we could eventually get it. Cute decorations inside, plenty of towels & paper products. Host was kind to let us have a later check out.

NIGHTMARE

No communication and overcharged now $500 and was charged $625. VRBO contacted OFTEN (from April to the day before check in) WITH NO HELP. Left out of contact and property owner says VRBO did not send any questions asked all along about accomodations and beds. Tried to leave messages at the number provided and never heard till the day of booking. NOT 4 bedrooms as advertised. Had an 80 year old sleeping on a couch due to false advertising. Locked out at night without gate code. The place is beautiful but no way sleeps 8. First try using VRBO...never again.

Nice stay on a beautiful golf course. Excellent neighborhood for bike riding and walking. Location on a quiet cul-de-sac was a plus! House could use a few updates in kitchen, but able to find all we needed to cook a family meal. Beds and linens were high quality. Thermostat upstairs was not working and would only be a problem in summer months without AC upstairs. Owner communication was quick and pleasant. A nice house for a stay away!

Hidden Gem!

Although we were impressed with the pictures when reviewing the property, we still under estimated how impressive this property is with great amenities, location, and features such as the gourmet kitchen area. The host provided timely responses to keep us informed on area happenings such as "First Friday" in downtown Brunswick. Overall, we highly recommend this property if you're looking to balance your vacation with a great venue to enjoy time with the family and superior excursions in the nearby golden aisles. We had a great experience that exceeded our expectations!

Beautiful place, quiet and close to many things!

The house was fantastic, in a private gated community at the end of a cul-de-sac. We saw deer every evening! You have a lot of amenities without even leaving the community. The clubhouse is right around the corner where the kids had a great time at the pool, my teen enjoyed working out at the gym. St Simons Island and Jekyll Island are very close and we had several fun beach days and going to the lighthouse. We really liked Arte Pizza in downtown Brunswick it was quaint and very delicious. We would definitely go back again!

Lovely home

Very private and quiet. Easy drive to beaches and other attractions. Comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. Plenty of room to spread out. it also smelled wonderful inside the house!!

Well Kept Sanctuary

My family was very comfortable at this well-appointed home. Community Pool was well kept and the area is picturesque. All of the supplies one needs for cooking were provided. Host was responsive.
