"I have stayed at Sheraton Tokoriki three times over the years and have always loved it, which made this most recent stay particularly disappointing. In the past, the service has been a standout feature of the resort. Staff would usually know you by name within a day or two and service felt attentive and warm. Unfortunately, this visit felt completely different. Service throughout the resort was consistently slow and inattentive. For example, we waited around 1.5 hours for a simple coffee to arrive, and long waits for service in the restaurants were common. Food and drinks were not offered poolside, which is unusual for a resort of this standard. On several occasions we found ourselves standing and waiting while staff finished their own conversations before acknowledging us, and when service did come it often felt as though we were inconveniencing them. There were also issues with the food and beverage offering. Some menu items did not match their descriptions and overall the pricing felt very high relative to the quality delivered. More broadly, there seemed to be an underlying staff morale issue. The atmosphere suggested that staff were unhappy, which unfortunately translated into noticeably poor customer service. We did raise these concerns with management during our stay, however no real solutions were offered. "Lovely family who run the place, but quite fun down. Bungalows were built 20 years ago and have had no renovation. That said everything was functional. No cell signal except in 2 spots by the beach Very intermittently. No ac, no hot water, no locks for the doors. Food was basic but good and plenty of it. Reef shark feeding snokel activity was absolutley amazing. Hiking trails do not exist. Guide needed to hike. I was there alone for one night, then joined by a couple the next. Excellent place if you want peace and quiet"

"This lodge is not up front about letting you know there is a hefty mandatory per day food charge. I booked through Expedia expecting just lodging but found out after booking my room and the ferry to take me there that there is a non negotiable $20 tender fee and $80.00 op per night food charge. There is nothing on the Expedia site about this and Expedia was not helpful. Unfortunately I booked 2 days prior to arrival and had a non refundable return ticket via the ferry so could not change. There is limited power, no eSIM data and no wifi so I had to keep the booking. Like other island resorts they really need to state up front, before you book, the full cost of staying there. This is an all inclusive not just a room booking as you are lead to believe in Expedia. Expedia is aware an to date has not updated their site. Just be aware the cost is a lot more than advertised. "

"The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. They were wonderful , from Kasa the manager, Bunny , Sophia and ? In the kitchen to the guys who provided us with coconuts and fixed any problems. Our outside shower was fantastic despite occasional water supply problems "

"Bill and Paula and the whole community were amazingly kind. This was a rustic and genuine experience to be immersed into a warm Fijian community. We should have realized some of the limitations that we would face, (no a/c, limited power supply, steep steps to the main house for meals, etc) traveling with my elderly mother before we booked this, but everyone was kind, thoughtful and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our snorkeling with sharks excursion. The Island and water was warm, inviting and refreshing. Paula was a great cook and we enjoyed their Fiji hospitality. "

"Staff were the most attentive and friendliest group of people I’ve ever had the pleasure to be served by in a resort setting. Spa therapists were excellent and accommodating to my physical limitations. Brought the massages to our room rather than me having to walk to the spa. Grounds were meticulously groomed daily. Food was excellent in presentation, quality, and variety. This resort paid more attention to small details than any place we’ve stayed before."
