Cozy All Season Lake Front Apartment

This beautiful, newly remodeled, one-bedroom all-season lakefront apartment at Elk Lake boasts gorgeous lake views, access to Elk Lake Beach & is available year-round! You can enjoy a meal in your private dining area or outdoors on the patio, retreat to the couch after a long day in the sun, get some work done in the built-in office space, or walk to the attached Jake's Elk Lake Tavern for food, drinks, and fun. The unit can comfortably sleep four with a pull-out sofa & a private queen bed.

Located within miles of Elk Mountain Ski Resort & Montage Montage Mountain, Historic Downtown Carbondale, & Historic Downtown Honesdale. In the surrounding area, you'll find many great coffee/breakfast spots, shopping, activities, entertainment, restaurants, outdoor attractions, & more!

We provide a Welcome Book to each unit which includes WiFi information, food menus, attractions, & more. We also recommend checking outVisitForestCityPa.com which is a great resource for things to do in the area.

Check-in is easy, grab the key from our bartender & be sure to note the specials for the night to enjoy some dinner.

Please note that Elk Lake is a private lake therefore no boats/kayaks can be brought from outside of the Lake Association, this helps to keep the lake safe for all.
About 30 minutes away from Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River, near The Zane Grey Museum, farmers markets and tubing in Narrowsburg. You can check out some cool Water Falls: Shohola Falls, Darbytown Falls, Tanners Falls, Wangum Falls, Bushkill Falls and Dingman's Falls. Besides Hiking at Prompton State Park you can go Horseback Riding.
Snowmobile passes are available for sale for NEP Sno Trails.

Pros: It was nice place to sit outside and drink our coffee. Did not hear any noise from the tavern. Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Cons: The couch, even though we were not there much, was not comfortable. The driveway getting back there was very rutted.

Great little cottage at the Lake!

This is a great little cottage with renovated shower and interiors for easy sleeping at night while you enjoy the lake all day. Surprisingly, it was very quiet as Jake's Tavern is right next door (which was also a huge bonus for us!). Easy and convenient parking, lovely and super friendly and responsive people. This is not a resort property - it's cottage on a lake and was perfect for our relaxing off the grid weekend getaway - thank you Tammy!

Hometown Hospitality

We quite enjoyed our stay! It was perfect for our weekend gettaway! We love to hike and there is no shortage of scenic views and great trails all around the area. Our host greeted us and was very kind! Being nearby the tavern was perfect for grabbing a bite to eat and get a drink, not to mention the calm,cozy hometown vibes in there were very welcoming! Awesome people and place to relax

The owners are very nice so is the surround the community.it’s attached to the Jake’s bar, which they own the food is amazing everything you get is top notch and fishing at lake is one way to relax. This was our second stay there, and it certainly will not be the last.

What a fantastic lakefront place right next to the best bar/restaurant. Clean, accommodating & very comfortable. Tammy was the best host! We stayed there while hosting an even at the restaurant/bar (Jake's on the Lake) & it was perfect! Highly recommend!

Cute place with a Great Lake view!

We were pleasantly surprised with how nice this place was. Completely new everything inside. Just needs a fan of some sort in the bedroom for air flow. Also road signs need to be more visible and driveways and parking lots need to be paved. Potholes need to be filled. It had rained and was muddy causing us to bring into the property.

Great little get away!

If you are looking for a cute little get away spot, this is really nice for the price. You will have lake views which are beautiful, privacy and the option to get a bite to eat at the tavern next door. The tavern was not loud at all when you are in the apartment. It is a private lake so you can't boat or fish unless you have a PA fishing license. The apartment is only 10 minutes from town so you can drive in and have breakfast at the Belmont Cafe which is totally unassuming from the outside but the food was great and the staff was so nice. The host was super easy to communicate with and very friendly. Thank you!

Had a great stay here, peaceful lakeside property attached to Jakes Tavern. Definitely looking forward to coming back! Tammy was incredibly accommodating and we had an awesome time.

Quiet and comfortable weekend stay!

We are local to NEPA so we’re familiar with the area. We had a wedding about 10 minutes away and didn’t want to stay on site. This was a perfect little getaway rental. The location is great and the morning and evening views are beautiful, as it’s right on a lake. It’s reasonably priced, the owners are always available (and are super nice!), and it’s in a quiet neighborhood with really friendly neighbors who always greeted us when driving by or walking their pups. There’s a bar/restaurant right next-door with good food and drinks, not to mention very reasonable prices! The drive into town is short if you want to walk around or drive for breakfast or lunch, plus there’s a dollar store and grocery store nearby as well. Loved the easy access to the lake and docks, even though we didn’t get to enjoy that aspect as much as we wanted. Being there in the fall made us want to go back in the summer to enjoy the lake a little more. Great spot! We’ll be back!

The place itself is nice but poorly cleanned just to tell you we stayed there 2 days and we didn't shower the shower stinked like rotten egg linnen poorly washed there are many cars that drive back and forth not safe it all if you decide to bring kids

Perfect for visiting family at reunion at the lake.

Friendly owners, they are on sight and easy to get in touch with. A//C was wonderful during heatwave. New, comfortable bed. Surprisingly very quiet for being in same building as Jake's Tavern. Kitchen area is mini fridge, sink and microwave which was enough for me. Minimal utensils, plates, etc so if you need anything more bring your own. Think of it like a hotel room as far as kitchen only much better. Tavern serves lunch and dinner.
