“Communication leading up to check-in was terrible. I didn't receive check-in instructions until I was on the road heading there. I had to ask more than once. However, once I received them, they were very detailed and easy to follow. There is a massive road construction project happening around the building, so that wasn't great, but it didn't really disturb us.”

“We had no heat all day Sunday when it was single digits outside. I asked where the thermostat was at noon and got excuses all day. At 4:00 I sent a message saying that we'd give them one hour and then we'd have to leave as it was freezing cold. Finally, at 6 p.m. someone showed up to turn on the heat in the downstairs apartment where it had been turned off by the tenants who had moved out suddenly. The property manager tried to blame me for not getting back with him to tell him we hadn't closed……

“The room was clean and beautifully decorated! The bed was so comfortable. The coffee from local coffee shop was delicious and definitely a bonus! We stopped in to take some home with us because we loved it so much. The restaurant downstairs was amazing! The only complaint was the noise from the live band. We used the ear plugs provided, the noise machine and our fan but still very noisy. We have stayed before at a different apartment and the noise didn’t bother us but the band seemed to be right……

“Liked the layout and cleanliness of the suite. We had a significant issue leading to very little sleep over two nights. The neighbours above the suite were incredibly loud until 5 a.m one morning and early the second night. We think they had a number of dogs. The second night we could hear a fight and lots of arguing and swear words. Seemed to be little noise protection between the two units.”

“We stayed here for a few nights while visiting as tourists. Having a combo washing machine/dryer was really nice! The apartment was clean and included snacks! Host was very communicative. We personally didn't have any issues with anyone breaking into our car while parked in the lot. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash looked like it had been mounted to the shower wall at some point and broke off - was a little awkward to store our toiletries on the shower floor. ”

“The rental was clean, with the exception of some of the door frames. The location is okay. It’s a reasonably pleasant walk to the Q line. Both bedrooms are upstairs, while the only bathroom is downstairs. It is an old building, so the stairs are steep, with narrow treads. If you have mobility issues, you might want to consider a different rental. Also worth mentioning is that the floors and stairs are very loud. The owner is responsive, and we didn’t have any problems occur during our stay.”

“It's a lovely space for a relaxing evening after enjoying the area.”

“The place was pretty clean, however the Keurig did not look clean at all so I could not use it and also there was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom. My check in was delayed by a couple hours because I couldn't get a hold of the host and when I did, they mentioned that they prefer to call instead of text which is fine but I wish I knew beforehand. There was also no information regarding parking so I parked on the street the first day but there are spots behind the place. The main issue……

“Very cute and cozy place was close enough to our concert venue at a very nice price. Loved that canvases were provided if we wanted to paint. Would definitely recommend! ”

“The place was very clean. Location was perfect with small travel distance to downtown features. ”

“Cute place in fabulous location and great price. But is loud though and can hear everything happening very clearly outside the windows. Would’ve been helpful to know cost of parking which was not shared. Thermostat was stuck on cold and we couldn’t get a place to heat up. Temperature is dropped at night due to Michigan winter weather so that was not ideal. Contacted host about about the situation and never heard back.”
