"Incredible food, nice open air bath and great karaoke. Rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very nice"

"It was wonderful experience and lovely staff. "

"Onsen and massage chair awesome. Make sure to book your shuttles as it is far way from the station."

"I went here as a single traveller with little to Japanese language skills and found it amazing. Though the staff had limited English, everything was communicated well and I felt very welcomed and comfortable. It’s very close to all the main attractions of Nara, but out of the way enough to where you’re not surrounded by people all the time. If I ever go back to Nara, I will certainly stay here again. "

"I highly recommended this place."

"A stay here offers far more than luxurious accommodations; it provides a deep connection to timeless Japanese culture. If you are looking for an authentic escape where you are treated with genuine warmth, effortless grace, and meticulous attention to detail, this ryokan is an absolute must-visit. Would return in a heartbeat."

"Great kaseiki dinner. Our best meal in Japan. This ryokan oozes charm and the staff is wonderful"
