"We had a wonderful five-night stay this August. The house was lovely and clean. The kitchen had what we needed (e.g. appliances, pots, cutting boards, containers for leftovers). The game room was great--we did not use it as much as I thought we might but that was because the weather was so good we spent most of our time at the lake!If you are thinking of staying here, a few things it is useful to know:1. The lake is very clear. The DNR website I found listed it as somewhat clear, but it was very clear. Look down from the house windows and see fish swimming in the shallows clear. 2. The lake is fairly shallow a fair way out (which could be particularly nice if you have young children). The bottom at this property is sandy.3. There is a boat launch not far from the property. If you had kayaks, this would be a great lake to kayak and launching from the boat launch would be easy. On the other hand, we simply used the two paddleboards and enjoyed that a lot.4. As the pictures show, there are a lot of steps from the lake to the house. The steps are solid and easy to navigate. There area railings on both sides the whole way up.5. Randy was great to work with. He called while we were on our way with some additional helpful information about the house and to answer any questions we had. He was also very responsive to texts while we were at the property (we had a couple of questions about where to find things).We would definitely return to this place!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful place on a quiet private lake. There was plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. It was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The sandy beach was awesome and the kids had a blast swimming, and playing in the sand. An added bonus was the pontoon available to rent. We used it a lot. Caught some bass, a small Northern, and sunfish. Thank you, Gary and Linda!"
