"Everything from the staff and the ckean rooms was excellent. My husband left a fanny pack with money in the drawer of our room. We left around 9Am and did not discover it missing until 5pm when we arrived home in Philadelphia. I immediately called the hotel and spoke to Randy who was working at the front desk. When I asked him if anyone had found it he said yes and the money was all there. He contacted his manager Tina to let her know and he locked it in his safe. He called Tina again while he was on the phone with me and Tina will Fed Ex the fanny pack along with the money to us here in Philadelphia. I would like to thank both Randy and Tina for being so honest and know that they both have really restored my faith in humanity."

"This house could not have been more perfect for our blended group. My family, my brother’s family, and the grandparents had more than enough space for our week long stay. In total we showed up with 6 adults, and 3 kids. Spacious: the common areas provided more than enough space to enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen also gave more than enough room to have 3 or 4 adults at any given time working together to prepare our meals. Clean: Each of the rooms was ready for our arrival the second we showed up. Another plus was the 4 full bathrooms we had to our disposal for the entire group. Activities: The lake and private dock was a stone throw away from the back door of the house. This was extremely convenient for the boat we rented during our stay. The kayaks also proved to be a fun activity for everyone. The steps leading from the lake to the lawn was extremely convenient for the dogs exiting the water. We also were able to catch some fish from simple drop line fishing. Communication leading to our stay and during the duration of our vacation was top notch. This house is definitely a strong candidate for any future visits we make to Lake Gaston."

"The house was perfect for our family vacation. There was plenty of space for our group of 18! There was so much to do just on the property. Having 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators (3rd in guest house), 2 washer/dryers (3rd in guest house), and other things made the house run more smoothly throughout the week with such a large group. Thank you to the owner for providing the perfect property to make memories!"

"This is an amazing property for awesome sunsets. The cove the house is located in is perfect for our wakeboarding. I love the low sloped landscaping due to the dogs. I loved how our dogs could just walk in and swim. Our grandsons had a blast jumping off the dock and the ladder was a plus for the boys getting in and out of the water. Only 18 minutes the food lion, the boat house was awesome, you spent most of your time there. Our grandsons enjoyed fishing off the dock, we even brought our projector and put up a screen in the boat house. Watching a movie by the lake at night was priceless. We came to the lake for years and stopped due to the loss of a friend who went with us. This 1st trips in years was a toast to him, we will be back again and for many more years to come. We created these memories with our daughters, time to started with our grandchildren. Thank you Richard for great communication. The Carroll Family."

"Overall, it's a very nice place for relaxing. Unfortunately the water was extremely low but that's no fault of the host. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would recommend putting in a stairway to the grilling area, the slope is for people younger than us. Very nice place and clean, we wiped everything down before we left so it should be left as clean as we got it. We will probably rent it again."

"The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The owners was very quick to respond to every question we had. The lake was amazing and you should always rent the boat that's available right at the house."
