「We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Cottage. The home was quaint, romantic, and had a great view. The restaurant was great (we ate breakfast there). Close walk to town. Everything was perfect! 」

The location provides easy access to the area and a walkable distance to town. The owners are the best. 「The property is in a great location with a ton of good facilities on site. Communication prior to arrival was poor and we struggled to access. The property is in dire need of maintenance. Light fitting hanging off wall, mould on roof in bathrooms from steam, water marks on roof from what we can only assume is leaking showers in the floors above. Bath plugs leak, wasting water. Double bed in the one room is hard as a plank and really uncomfortable. Pillows need replacing and door handles in...

「Great cottage, everything you need for a relaxing stay, had issues with loadshedding getting hot water, but this was not the fault of the guesthouse, they made arrangements for us to use another bathroom in the main house. Excellent hosts, checking we was ok, such a friendly place to stay, we will be back, we loved it for a weekend away. Thank you 」

「Well this property was way above what I expected. A beautiful period property very tastefully decorated. Also has Solar Power so you always have lights and WiFi. Johan who takes care of the property is Fabulous, nothing is a problem . Just loved out stay at a Home away from Home.」

「This trip was rescheduled from last year. Condo is spotlessly clean. Condo is managed by Megan who is instantly responsive. You communicate using whatsapp and she responds almost instantly. Walking distance to woolworths for essential groceries! Superb base for exploring west cape wine country. Great for 2 couples or a family of 4.」

「The facilities at this property were very minimal for what is offered as a furnished holiday let. A salt and pepper set would have been nice. We had flat 2 which is not air conditioned but an air-conditioning unit outside our suite was noisy and disturbing.」

「One Swedish and one Irish couple decided to find a secure nice property for 30 days at our first visit to SA with access to golf, wine etc. The place we found was perfect and the house lived up to all our expectations. The only minor mark is that we would prefer if the Kitchen equipment was of a slightly better quality and matched the rest of this quality home. We appreciated the backup system in the house that helped us to finish the late movie nights even when we had power cuts.」

「We absolutely loved our stay. The views are beautiful and the tents are very comfortable for a family of 5. There is a lot of outdoor space for the kids to run around. We plan on returning if we travel back to South Africa. 」
