Amazing location!
We had an amazing stay at this house! We weren't sure how close the house would be to the beach, so let me explain. The house has a covered porch, with the road in front of the porch (there's a concrete barrier as well on the house side). If you cross the street, the sea wall is right there, with large rocks instead of a beach area, even during low tide. There are some spots of accessible beach close by just a few houses down, but it's mostly for viewing tidal pool areas, and has seaweed and slippery rocks. The true beach to visit nearby is Crescent Beach, which is about a ten minute walk towards the Lobster Pound. We did this and really loved this quiet beach! Even on one of its busiest days, the beach was never packed with people. The walk to the beach was an easy, safe walk. The kids really loved this beach, which had soft sand and not too many rocks.This is also one of the few houses in the area with a covered porch, which we really appreciated while we sat out and drank coffee by the waves. The back porch also was great, which had incredible views of the marsh and stunning sunsets. There's a small grill, table, chairs, and a view that we saw one of the best sunsets we've ever seen. The space is plenty big, with additional parking underneath the house. When we arrived, the house was spotless, with plenty of coffee to choose from (Keurig or brewer, along with some quality brew!). We will be back!!
