"This is a dump, run by an owner is difficult to understand. When I arrived the "24 hour" front desk was abandoned. After 10 minutes of banging on the door to an office, the disheveled owner came out in a dirty, stained polo shirt and sweat pants. Although I had prepaid for the room on Hotels.com, he insisted he had no room for me. After watching him struggle on an old laptop to find his reservations, he told me he could not refund what I had already paid, and didn't have a room. This junky motel should not be listed on Hotels.com"

"Clean room. Decent breakfast. Quiet. Wish they would turn down the perfume spray. It gives me a headache near the elevator and makes me wonder what they are masking."

"The room took 6 hours to bring the temp up to 72 degrees. The bathroom never did warm up. Winter camping would have been more comfortable. The hall ways of this joint were unheated averaging 45 degrees ?? Seriously what kind of owners manage their properties like this ? One guess !"

"The hawks nest is a very warm, cute cabin. The hot tub and wood burning stove were both huge hits for us, as it was very cold the 4 nights we were up there. Also has lots of extra blankets to keep you warm. We spent our evenings curled up watching Netflix (provided.) The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals (has some spices, tin foil and drawers full of every gadget you will need.) Shelby and her husband were very easy to work with and very quickly responded to any questions we had, they even sent someone over to plow the driveway for us after receiving 4-6” of snow! The bed was very comfortable! Thanks so much for allowing us to spend some time there. We enjoyed our stay very much!!!"

"My wife and I had an amazing weekend stay at the A Frame. The cabin was cozy, had everything we needed, and was so quiet and relaxing. We played games on the table overlooking the river, made all of our meals at the cabin, and enjoyed the color changing lights as we relaxed and talked. We only left the cabin once and that was to hike the Silver Creek Pathway along the Pine River. We would not have changed a thing and hope to come back someday when it is warmer so we can enjoy the fire pit, deck, and hanging out by the river!"

"Super friendly and professional staff. Hotel needs a regular maintenance man (paint, patch, etc), other than that it was a pleasurable stay."
