Check-in was easy. Everything looks exactly like the pictures online. Very clean. The kids loved using the waffle maker for breakfast! They didn't want to leave the game room; they were having so much fun! We relaxed with a movie in the theater at night. Being a former elementary school, the rooms are huge - plenty of room to spread out. It's only about a 25 minute drive to the beach in Manistee. Our stay was excellent!

This was by far one of the best places we have ever stayed! It was clean and very spacious! We also enjoyed how quiet it was during the night and day. The arcade was very fun and enjoyable as well as the movie room was amazing! Breakfast had many options to meet everyones needs! We will definitely be staying here again and have already recommended it to several of our friends!

We stayed here due to proximity to a planned family reunion. We were delighted and pleasantly surprised by how nice this place is! We received a very thorough email with consolidated information the day before arrival, and check-in was a breeze. Staff was friendly and accommodating, adjusting the hours of breakfast, and the arcade room for us, since we were the only guests. Staff made it a point to be accessible if we needed anything (we didn't). Amenities were inviting and easy to use. The theater was very enjoyable. We will definitely consider this our first choice next time we are in town!

If you're looking for class, comfort, and a friendly budget this is a great place to stay!! We brought our kids this second time and they enjoyed watching the fireworks up close from the back yard on the 4th of July weekend. We spent time enjoying a couple of Lake Michigan's beautiful beaches and took them for a plane ride. The Woods arcade and theater was fun, and it was a very peaceful stay.

Perfect for families rooming together!

Old school converted to the cutest bed & breakfast/event center. Our suite had everything you would need for your stay and is very spacious compared to a hotel room. 2 full sized/queen beds, living room area with full size couch, TV, dining area, good sized bathroom, wifi and much more! Smelled wonderful throughout our entire stay, extremely clean and nicely decorated. Ease of coming and going with key codes at entrance and into suite. Breakfast bistro area with complimentary breakfast, little gift shop, movie theater room, and small gym with workout equipment Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We needed a place to stay that was close to the North Country Trail Run and found "The Woods." It was a perfect! Spacious rooms with new and very nice furniture, linens, bathroom products, amenities, etc. Wish we coukd have stayed longer to take advantage of all the amenities
