「The Lion Hotel is ideally situated to explore Shrewsbury on foot and you can leave your car on the property, pay at the desk rather than the machine for £5 per day. It is a property that is both historic and with character, having said that the communal areas looked very tired. The room was spacious with a high ceiling, brown furniture and bare floorboards which squeaked with every step so be aware if you are prone to waltzing in your sleep.」
