This place is a real gem. Double room at rear of Inn away from main road, Bed very comfortable - lovely bedding. Bathroom very good/clean - would benefit from somewhere to put down toiletry bags etc. beautiful huge white fluffy towels provided. Shower would also benefit from somewhere to put down toiletries etc. Restaurant excellent, lovely ambiance, food plentiful and very good although chips a little too crispy. Staff really welcoming, pleasant and very helpful. Car park good. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

What I didn't like was the Noise from the traffic over the night, other wise was pleased with the large room, clean and comfortable. Parking area OK but very dusty. The staff is very helpful and pleasant.

Really helpful staff, clean and well presented rooms and ample free parking. Rooms very reasonably priced and the hotel is very dog friendly. Just note that the hotel is situated on a very busy road and due to being a listed building there is a limit as to what the owners can do to soundproof the windows, therefore rooms on the front can be quite noisy.

Staff were excellent. If you enjoy a good, well kept pint go somewhere else. Hard to get a good nights sleep when the road noise is akin to camping on a motorway. Meal was average at best. Room clean. Parking ok.

It was a pleasant stay, clean and comfy bed. I do think though for this standard of room and property, £130 per night was quite steep. Really surprised to see that we then had to pay an extra £10pp if you wanted a cooked breakfast. The continual that comes with the room price was very limited. Will I be back, very much doubt it.

One night stop over whilst visiting relative. Really clean and comfy room. Super friendly staff in this wonderful bar restaurant. We opted for the additional fee cooked breakfast on top of the continental breakfast provided. Large free car park too. Would happily stay again if in this area.
