「I stayed at Kaliwa Lodge for 4 nights and was impressed by the tranquil and peaceful environment. The terrace is a great place to watch the sacred Mountain Kilimanjaro at different times of the day, and be connected to the nature. I brought along my yoga mat to practise on the terrace every morning. Food is great too, they prepared wonderful vegetarian food for me on request everyday. Staff is very nice and treat every guest with their heart. I really enjoyed staying at Kaliwa Lodge. 」

「The garden area felt like a little slice of paradise with bunnies running around freely helping to maintain the grass - as well as donkeys. Monkeys were climbing in the trees, and occasionally a large turtle would cross the lawn. The place itself was very calming and the staff sweet and helpful.」

「Truly loved staying here. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the entire property has so much charm and character, beautifully decorated. The staff are amazing! Attentive, kind, and helpful. We returned with badly muddied shoes after a hike of Mt Kilimanjaro and left our shoes on the front porch. To our amazement, we woke up to spotlessly cleaned shoes that were also packed in a travel bag for us. The food was great and very reasonably priced.
