Memorial Day Weekend!
This property is lovely and just as described. Plenty of room for a family of 15! Stacy was hospitable and responded immediately to any concerns or questions. The location is great for both West Baden Springs and French Lick. We all highly recommend!

Amazing weekend!
I had two of my best friends and their families come join us at the Lost River Lodge. We had planned the trip a couple months prior. My two friends and I had learned to ski at Paoli Peaks on overnight church trips in the early 90s. There were a lot of special memories and we wanted to show our kids how we learned to ski. As the trip approached it didn't look like snow was a possibility and the slopes at Paoli were closed. However, Lost River Lodge was such an interesting and welcoming lodge that we were happy just staying in for the weekend for lots of fun and games. As we crossed into French Lick the weather changed dramatically and snow flakes began to fall - almost immediately covering the roads. It was a miracle! We made it into the Lodge and unpacked our belongings and began trying to choose rooms. The kids were the first to find the hidden passage! We were all in heaven. After dinner we played an epic game of sardines. I can't imagine ever having a place hear so much joy and laughter. By the end of our wonderful trip, the snow and skiing was merely a bonus to the wonderful memories we all made at Lost River Lodge.

My brother, 3 sisters, and all of our children and grandchildren stayed at the cabin. It was very comfortable, spacious, clean, and laid out well. We enjoyed it very much.

Can't Wait to Go Back
We had our parent's 50th Anniversary celebration at Lost River Lodge. Our family gathering from 9 months old to almost 70 and it was a perfect location for everyone. The Lodge is large enough so never never felt on top of each other with 10 of us together. The sleeping arrangement are quiet. It has the Mother-of-All wrap around porches!

The Lost River Ranch is wonderful place for a large group of people to get together. You can easily gather together in the large dining room or in the living room and decks. But you can also find places to be when you want to be alone. Everything you need is provided by the host. It is so nice to have coffee, creamer & sweetener available on that first morning. Not to mention the beer & wine! It is not easy to get 11 women to agree on much but we all agreed that The Lost River Ranch is a perfect place to stay.

Beautiful Lodge in French Lick/West Baden area for large groups
We loved everything about our stay at the Lost River Lodge. The property was well equipped with everything we needed for a fantastic getaway. Stacy was an excellent host and responded to all of our questions and even proactively provided a few tips along the way. Our only disappointment was not having access to one of the rooms, which as I understand was being renovated and/or used for storage. While totally understandable, we really would have loved to have that screened in room. The accommodations overall were comfortable and sufficient for everything we needed. And the views from the porch were unbeatable. Thank you Stacy for a memorable experience!

Thank you so much Austen for the kind words! Unfortunately the sun room is not adequately insulated and is not every efficient for our heat pump. We do currently use it for storage and cleaning supplies, but eventually I would like to renovate the kitchen and expand it into that space. Thank you again!

Property takes you deep into the nature which is well maintained and lot of places to explore near by. Stacy is very responsive and we would definitely recommend to other groups.

Amazing large group golf trip
The house was amazing. The view and the property was spectacular. We had a large group of adults and everyone slept comfortably and we loved the giant table where we could all sit together. Communication with the host was very helpful, and she even found some items we left there and sent them to us after. Couldn't recommend this house enough!

The perfect family retreat!
Lost River Ranch is the epitome of relaxation and privacy. It is a fantastic property nestled in its own natural heaven. Stacy does a wonderful job of making sure all needs are met, and was accommodating when it came to special requests. It is recommended to have Elle come out and cook a dinner for your smaller group (we had 11). Her catering service, Elle’s on Elm, was consulted for a private dinner. The combination of the huge dining room of the house, the view, and Elle’s delicious meal gave our family a memory we will remember for years to come! Should our adventures bring us back to French Lick, we would book again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for all!

Wonderful family reunion!
We had 23 family members stay here for our annual reunion. It never felt crowded, so many spaces inside and out. Only 35 minutes to Patoka Lake. Had a great time!

Great time to celebrate family!
My family spent a long weekend at this home to celebrate my parent's 60th wedding anniversary and my mom's 80th birthday. The home was gorgeous, and Stacy was a very gracious host. The home is in a very remote area, yet only about a 15-minute drive from French Lick - a small resort town with a casino and several touristy type attractions. I'd recommend this home highly - but note that there are a lot of bugs (Stacy doesn't hide this fact), so while the outdoor deck is a wonderful place to hang out, doing so after sundown, is near impossible.

Stacy was beyond helpful with our stay, and with her communication. The home is perfectly situated, yet conveniently located. The drive was beautiful to get there - and less than a three hour drive from Cincinnati!

Incredible stay and location! Company group friendly! Highly recommend!
Our stay was absolutely incredible! Communication with the property manager was excellent, cleanliness and hospitality was above and beyond, and everything exceeded expectations that were advertised. Quiet and tranquility can be found here, while still having convenience and amenities of a 10 minute drive to West Baden/French Lick. The views and surrounding property blew me away. The space was extremely conducive to team building and productive meetings for our company leadership team. I would highly recommend to any small corporate or company group looking for a relaxed environment that will also promote productivity, openness, and team-building. All while still ensuring enough space and room for sleeping and separation when desired. You won’t go wrong with this place!

Weekend Away with Breathtaking Views
This cabin was perfect for our weekend away with friends. The cabin was super easy to find and offered the perfect balance of weekend in the woods but not far from town. We loved our stay and hope to come back soon!

Very clean and beautiful property. We enjoyed our stay for a large family get together. So many fun and unique experiences around French lick. We enjoyed the train, wildlife safari, and marengo caves. So many surprising gems in the area and a great place to stay! Definitely recommend!

We Loved It!
This property is beautiful! There is plenty of space both inside and out. We had 12 girls stay the weekend and never felt like we were on top of one another. We loved the outside deck space, hot tub, and the 12 person dinning table, which allowed us all to eat together. The house was so close to town, we had spa reservations at French Lick and were able to be there in just 12mins. The owner, Stacy, was great to work with, very responsive, and honestly has thought of everything. We didn’t bring kids to our girls trip but in the house was everything a family with little ones would need, high chairs, potty seats, etc. As for a girls trip, we walked in to a bottle of wine and popcorn, so thoughtful! We loved it and would absolutely recommend it this place to any large family or group. We have already talked about going back ourselves!

Family Celebration of 60th Anniversary
This lodge was perfect for our group of 11 adults. The property and views are amazing. The lodge has a fun floor plan constructed of beautiful woods and relaxing porches that must be enjoyed. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Country Vacation
The lodge and property were perfect for our family vacation. There was tons of room for our family of 14, and the kids loved the game rooms and bunk beds. We loved exploring the property and playing yard games though the trails were steep and overgrown in some places which made it not ideal for younger kids. We also enjoyed nearby attractions such as Lake Patoka, French Lick Winery, and the Marengo Caves. This place would be beautiful in all seasons, and we will definitely be returning. The owner is easy to reach, responds quickly, and goes above and beyond to make sure the stay is perfect.

Friends Weekend
We have been renting properties for friends trips for over 20 years. This whole experience from start to finish was one of the best. The house/property is already awesome and I know will only get more amazing with some planned changes. The spacious decks were our favorite spot to gather. The new hot tub is amazing. We certainly appreciated all of the fridge space, gas range and grill. The owner went above and beyond in stocking soaps, paper products and storage products and was super responsive throughout the whole process.

This property was beautiful, it was such a big house that all 22 of us fit well. The owner was so easy to deal with and very accommodating. We would definitely rent this place again. The younger kids loved the basement play room and a secret door.

Golf Trip
My group of 12 friends came down to French Lick for a golf trip and stayed at the Lost River Lodge. The area was beautiful and the house was everything we had hoped for. The host was very helpful and the property was immaculate. 10/10 recommend for anyone traveling in the area looking for a quiet comfortable spot in the hills of Southern Indiana.

Definitely coming back to stay again
The Lost Ranch was a perfect stop for a large group to get away! The views are fantastic, the location is secluded and quite, the Lodge is so spacious and had everything we could need, and the owners were so kind and went above and beyond to accommodate our group. Highly recommend!
